Buki yo Saraba was short, so I will keep my review short as well. Let me start with the positives :

+ Outstanding animation on the action scenes

+ great graphics, even in the desert setting

+very well done CGI which flow perfectly

+ original weapon design / mech design / suit design

... However I would have loved more background on the story, more on the tanks too. What led to the war, are there other survivors, who is fighting who?

The tanks reminded me of Ghost In The Shell Tachikomas, a bit. The suits were a bit of a hybrid between an astronaut suit and some power armor. Very surprized by the quality of the military scenes.

I wanted to watch a MECHA anime and saw this one, Bokurano, had very good reviews. Without spoiling anything, this anime is NOT ABOUT mechas.

The CGI is badly implemented and stands out in a terrible way. The characters are poorly drawn too and the animation... Oh my...

The one thing you should know is every episode more or less, ends with a mecha fight. But there's NO SATISFACTION. 90% of an episode is about the character's life and drama and it literally cuts / jumbs into the mecha fight which lasts 1min.

The whole show is depressing from beginning to end. Would not recommend at all.

I decided to watch "Tatami Galaxy" because of the overwhelming numbers of positive reviews, many giving it a perfect 10/10.

How disappointed was I when I started the series. The narrator speaks in a very very fast manner, making a lot of his narration unintelligible. Even with the subtitles on, it was very difficult to follow. I thought after a few episodes I would adapt to the pace, but unfortunately it did not happen.

My second problem with this anime was the amount of repetition. As the protagonist relives some of his days with a difference going from slight to more pronounced. But I grew tired ... of this rather quickly.

The third problem was the visuals : some may like the color palette, or the character design which I can only describe as minimalist. It is a matter of personal preference, but I did not dislike it. I HATED it. To me, it felt cheap. I would not recommend it, even though I understand why some may like it.
