what can i say? good? not that great? mediocre? wait, it's not mediocre but not that good

this anime should have label "FOR MILITER-OTAKU" see that little strip between those words. that has meaning too.

first, if you don't know and don't enjoy explosives and guns. this anime had typical story that offers you. so, it should be hard to enjoy this anime

second, "japs propaganda is so strong with this one" is not an exaggerate statement. but wait, it's still using accurate military tactic and strategy. so, if you enjoy that. this anime should be fine

this anime has not much too offer except guns, military tactic, propaganda ... and fanservice. well, the story isn't so bad that it hurts your brain. it's not good but no bad either. predictable situation, with predictable outcome sparkled with sweet propaganda of JSDF. but still it pleases your eyes and your ear

i recommend this anime for those who "immune" to propaganda and those who loved guns and military tactic. well, there's not much anime that gives you accurate military tactic besides this one

so, 8/10 is the most high score i can stretch for this anime. based on my opinion

I got this anime from my friend that had thing with loli, which he said "watch it, it would be good show", he apparently knows that i hate sorta mahou shoujo or light stuff that doesn't had meanings in it. at first 6 episode, i believe that i'm the stupidest person alive because i took the words from loli-anime-lover for anime that i like for good (you can tell what anime genre i liked from my pict)

no shit, i've been decieved not by my friend but by this lil' girls anime that can transform to magical girls, A VERY CUTE MAGICAL GIRLS, kinda show ... that i despised.
first 6 episode, i had no intention to going beyond that bcs MANY MANY FANSERVICE. then, i muster my courage and try to get the show done before i move on to another anime. and i realized this anime is really dark anime




after 6 episode of girls transform like power rangers and fighting monster the show slowly take a turn. it's not a U-turn not a L-turn either. it's spinning.

i got my suspicion at, when somenone losing ability to talking. i said to myself "wow, that's interesting" (if you want to tell me that i'm the worst kind of human, i've been told so many times so don't bother it). my reason is no other than, that's the most interesting thing that happens till eps 7 beside the art and effect. i'm surprised that this 'gokumi studio' that i don't really know that can make such effects and arts

after the story make the spin, the story became dark and sometimes suddenly became so bright that it dazzling. the character thinking became more, more logical and develops (how come you can't like it tho?). the tragedy, the slice of school life, the reality. it hits you hard that you don't wanna get up from your seat and keep watching it until the story wraps

the VA did a good job in this anime. i never saw a cute voice VA did a good screaming and a crying voice so DAM*FUC*ING REAL. the feels it leaves, the camera pan, the shooting angle, even the background music is good. i can say this director is experienced or at least "fit" making this kinda anime

overall i can only give 8/10 considering that i hate the first 6 eps of this anime. and for you who like plot twist and dark anime, this anime is highly recommended

sayonara piano sonata, as you can expect from the title it's about music (no shit sherlock) being only 16 chapter makes it compact and easy to read, i just read it overnight

a farewell piano sonata that get through the reader. that what i can say about this series. still, at first time i read the "piano sonata" on the title i imagine it was about classic music only like nodame cantabile. but, it seems like the writer had good sense of modern music as well, they put some rock n roll like paul mccartney's blackbird as well beside the chopin's fantaisie impromptu. i can say ... myself as music enthusiast, when it comes to music i'm very picky. thus i can say the writer had some sense on music

the story is good. still, i even say that story is "classic" from the character it has. the childhood friend, the strange senpai, the tsundere girl and typical main character of this harem sitation that would fit into story. the school life with not-too-realistic type of school life made it more classic than the music in the series. but, still had some elements that suprise me in the corner of the story.

as for the art. well. it's not that detailed like vagabond type drawing, but it's not that unique as well. it's just typical. maybe it comes from the novel illustration character design but still, it doens't hit me on the spot

in conclusion, i can give this series 7.8/10. despite how mediocre it is. this series ending still give more feels than your average love-comedy manga

ping pong the animation. at first, i was thinking "is this really an anime from 2014?" the art is so bad that you can't tell a difference between it and child drawing. it was my first impression. but, what catches my eyes are the movement is so smooth, lively and retro. given the anime had good jokes as well, i can find enjoyment watching this retro-style anime

the cliche storyline, bad art, and some of fast paced (still somepeople likes fast pace) how comes this anime can get 8? let me tell you how it is.

the storyline is cliche as well as inspiring. ... the story infused with emotion, philosophical quotes, you can tell the author of the story is really want to tell how fun it is to play ping pong

the art is as bad as child drawing. you can see the line isn't straight here and there, and the detail isn't near any good. but the movement was so smooth, for fast pacing battle (match) between ping pong players i can say it done well. the retro style makes you feel like watching a manga

character is a bit dull i think. not that dull but a lil bit dull. the main character done well. you can feel what character think, they grew up, they evolve, they expand. but in the end they are still same. i can't find a reason why i still feel they're same character after all. per se, the voice actor done well presenting the character

overall, i can say this anime worth 8. not more, and not less. it just 8. from my judgement the story, character and how the producer wraps the story is what you can enjoy from this anime. the art itself drags the point down. but, personally it's 5/7 (if you know what i mean) and worth to watch

i got my eyes on this anime after my friend suggested it. at the first time i had my eye on it on myanimelist it seems like "moe anime" with tag mystery on it. i tried to watch one eps, in first 15 min i was like "this is really mystery anime" sure that was a sarcastic coming from my mouth. and then in the place where you don't expected it, this anime hits you hard with the reality of post-apocalypse

this anime itself tells us what makes human great. the will of surviving, great mind, and self-defense. but, what if the human greatness itself makes ... somehole while protecting oneself? it happens in this anime where your mind decide to protect you with averting your eyes from reality. first 8 eps is introduction, the core story comes after. hard to say this but the introduction had stronger feeling than the core story. some of art losing from the sound of voice actor making it seems weird when watching it. the enjoyment of this anime comes from the surprise it gave, the music and the origins of character are good, but the character development is lame. character is pretty usual, i'm hoping for some better development in the end but it end up predicted

in the end, the anime is worth to watch, not to say this is a masterpiece but it's enough for some mystery anime lover. not recommended to be rewatched since the enjoyment comes from the surprise it gives. still, it worth 7.7/10

"her moral and our moral is different" yes, this statement is what makes this series moves. this anime is filled with much (i can't count it, so i use much) philosophical based thinking, combined with computer science and heavy talking. mistery based anime that i can give straight 8 besides terror in tokyo, what makes this series that worth is the evidence is there from the beginning.

story 8/10
the story about classic closed room murder case. genius teacher with philosophical thinking, with his god-like in calculation student that trying to solve this mistery. it's classic, but i can't say i hate classic. it gives impression of ... how you will think, you will trying to guess who's the killer. personally, i think A-1 did a good job presenting the story in this series

art 9/10
9/10 is worth score to the art. the art, animation, and shoots is indeed done well for this mistery genre anime. well timed camera change, good art and animation gives the soul of what the story trying to tell

it's not that bad, it's not that good. it just above the average. good actor, but not too suited for the role besides the main character. the opening is done well, and some BGM is suited for situation. but, there's no significant role to the series

the character is human like character. it's solid, has flaws, emotional. the character is done well by the writer of the novel (i don't read the novel)

as this anime series categorized as mistery anime. it's heavy, full of content. as you missed the fact and trying to guess, this anime opened the evidence one by one to give you different view to guess the criminal

as it's not worth 9. i just can give it 8.6. the anime that makes you think. as it is can be categorized as hard anime, it needs thinking to give the full enjoyment and understanding to this anime. if you want just watch anime and laugh your ass off, this anime is not recommended to you

"if the thing you can do is calculate, then calculate all the way. the one that can't you calculate is your answer" this season 2 of oregairu focused on drama not rom-com like season 1. this season 2 needs deep psychological understanding of what other people thinks

the main storyline about how people changes, situation changes, and understanding of other people is great. drama how you people hide their feeling. of how you get the wrong conclusion and wrong understanding is great. but somehow studio Feels can't make the understanding of the character more clearly and gives off impression of the story

art 9/10
the art is ... great, the 3D is good, even the animation of how the hair moves is very detailed. the first eps OP gives minimalist impression, without giving much spoiler

sound 9/10
that one of the anime the OP you can't skip. eguchi, hayami, and touyama did good job presenting the sound of main character. the BGM matching the situation, and gives more feeling to the anime

the character that ponkan made beautifully solid as it's given space to grows. the character made wrong doings, wrong impression of others, and wrong conclusion as the anime goes. just like in real life, the right or wrong at every character being made not clear to give understanding of "there's no clear lines between right or wrong in doing something"

there bunch of scenes is hard to understand. every little movement like eye or just sighing makes understanding to the story. but, the main story and jokes is still good that it worth 8/10

the anime is hard and need deep concentration while watching, as the little movement can makes understanding to what character feels. still had some good jokes in it, as the main genre is drama. the anime that will makes you think what the character felt. for it all, i can give 9/10. one of the masterpiece that can you rewatch

well, watching hyouka will be like watching fireworks. it goes up till big blow and little sparks all over the sky, it gives the lonely impression after taste. the anime itself is about story of highschoolers getting caught up in classic club

the story is consistent but somehow boring. it seems like plot is getting done with hyouka investigation done. but, same situation and same catchword is played in every episodes of hyouka where "ki ni narimasu" can be heard at almost every episodes

art 8.5/10
the art from KyoAni is as usually good. from haruhi series, amaburi and now hyouka. you can see the art and ... camera play (camera shoots) getting better and taking fast change scene

sound 8/10
as someone who usually skip the OP and ED. there's some anime that i can't skip the OP or ED, this is the one that the OP i can't skip. for the voice actor, it not really suits well, but it still worth 8/10

character 9/10
i appraised the one who made the characters of hyouka. it well made, it solid, it's alive. you can see how the character consistent at some point and grew up

at enjoyment i can only give 8/10. it's fun to watch mystery getting solved at every episode, the plot gives good impression too

hyouka where "ki ni narimasu" can be heard at every episodes. but well made character and great art can cover it all. the main storyline is not bad, and watchable. in the end, as you grow, hyouka gives different perspective as you rewatch it again
