I started watching with Initial D, which I saw all over Newgrounds as a kid. Now I've watched quite a bit of anime, and I suppose I've got quite a bit more to watch.
I score shows based on how much I enjoy watching them. In general I typically enjoy most things, so I think I rate a bit high, especially for slice of life. Also I can't handle gore like at all and I somehow find action boring, so I usually rate a bit too low on things in that realm. Therefore, take my ratings with a grain of salt.
Usually, I only put tags on the first season in a series, so a tag applies to all in the series.
My True Score = (MAL Score + 2) * 10%
So an 8 is 100% good, I guess, for me.
Warning Tags: Warn/LightWarn: Possible content warning, usually LightWarn is like 12+ and Warn would be like 16+ or something like that. However, I think my ratings in this category are shaky. HeavyGore/Gore/LightGore: I can't handle any blood or gore above what I tag as Gore, or I feel physically unwell or pass out. For other people, don't even worry about this warning tag if you're OK with mild blood or gore. I would say that Gore is about 20% of the true maximum amount of gore out there, and LightGore is about 5%. HeavyGore is for anything that I would personally avoid watching, and It's probably about 40% Advertising: Advertising is somewhere in it. Either the entire things is an ad, or maybe just ad placement. Not always a bad thing. EpilepsyWarn: This seemed like it would trigger an epileptic seisure at some point. I don't know much about epilepsy, but I did feel my eyes sorta rumble or something, I guess?
Qualities HiddenGem: Something I really liked and either had a low score or a low view count. Chill: Relaxing, pretty self-explanatory. <Good/Bad> <Visual, Sound, Music, OP, ED, Character, Story, Voice, Motion, Design, Concept>: A bunch of tags that just show what in particular was the outstanding part of the anime/manga.
> Design means mainly cinematography and how they tell the story.
> Character refers to all the characters. Every character in the story must be either well-written or poorly-written to count for this.
> I'm slowly turning Sound into Voice and Music when applicable, same with OP/ED. Colors: Great use of colors. Usually vivid but not distracting. HighVoice: All of the voices were too high for me. Usually one high voice usually won't bother me, but if there's not enough low voices to balance it out, that bothers me sometimes. Different: Something sort of rare, like in terms of art style or sound or story or something. Weird: Sorta just didn't understand what was going on, or it just overall seemed weird and disconnected I guess. << Either this meaning, or it was comedy to the point that it was nonsense. Lazy: Some reused elements or a computer generated system made this seem lazily put together. SoClose: Was so close to being something I would like, but it didn't align quite right with me. Anxiety: Was stressful to watch (at least for me). GoodTrash: Wasn't very well produced, but was somehow enjoyable nonetheless.
Extra Info: Mov: A movie rather than a TV show, not sure why I'm marking this when there's a sort feature. Shorts Short episodes up to about 10 minutes. Depth*: Shows how many seasons there are in the series. Or DepthInsane is like over 3 or something. Music: Was entirely music, like a music video or something like that. Art: Was just art, like there's no story or characters, just art sorta thing. 3D: Was mostly or entirely in 3D animation. Not always bad CG: Not exactly same as 3D, but it's sort of a computer generated animation that doesn't seem hand-crafted or anything. Korean/Chinese/Manh-: Something that's not in Japanese.
Organization: Rec: A recomendation to you, I try to put this on things that I think most people would like. WarnRec: A recomendation to you, but with a warning added, pay attention to the Warn and Gore tags before accepting my recomendation I guess. toRec: A recomendation to me, somebody recommended this. Pop Seems to be popular, a lot of people talk about it or something like that. DuringAir: Watched while it was airing/being published. AirStart: Started while it was on air, but didn't finish it during the airing time.
My Organiztion, I Guess: Raw: Watched without subtitles. {Probably ~40% understanding} PartialRaw: Partially watched without subtitles, probably before subtitles were available. MoreWait: Waiting for an alternate version or a better release I suppose. WithFriend: Watched together with somebody. Distracted: Didn't watch closely enough to really call it watched. Continue: This is a continuation of something I have already seen. PotentialNext: I have hope that there will be a next in the series. Have no proof or reason though. WatchForEnding: Keep an eye on this manga/LN to see how it ends. animeFirst/mangaFirst: If something carries over from the list for the other format, I mark it so that I remember which I read/watched first. OneShotSkip: Skipped the One Shot that was included with the manga, probably cause I couldn't find it. SlowAir: Watching one at a time and keeping in 'On Hold' section because there's a lot of time between episodes GoodSubs/BadSubs: If I especially liked or disliked the subtitles I had for this show. This isn't listed with the other ones cause it doesn't change the quality of the show. Note: ...: If I add any non-tag notes, I'll format them like this. Best: ...: My favorite episodes listed with underscores between them because commas don't work. Order: ...: The order I watched something in, if I didn't watch in normal order.
