I'm not even going to waste my time. I'm female I like otome games I even like the way they divide episodes into routes to give all male leads a chance at happy ending. As lame as it is I am a fan of uta pri.

Yoroshkune bitch chan? I almost stopped in the first episode right at that moment. Omg I would have gone all exorcist on your ass try and say it to me in real life. The heroine is stupid. She needs to get a stake through her brain as much as the vampires need to get a stake through their hearts.

I have no other way to say this but this was the worst reverse harem anime I have ever seen. Wow I'm literally crying from how tedious it was. It bored me to tears and then some! Give me back my time wasted!

Story: it's got an interesting concept but for some reason it seemed so incomplete. There were heaps of plot holes and it was boring to be honest. Honestly speaking, I want to firstly say that I am not a fan of the reverse harem. In shoujo manga like we have the male lead stereotype. To be fair I do read a combination of both Shounen and shoujo manga and both genre have their fair share of stereotypes.

Most of Shouoto sensei's characters are heavily stereotyped and fan service oriented but then most shoujo manga is. I am by no means dissing shoujo manga, just explaining what to expect. I have followed skip beat for the last 8 years! I found this while trying to ...

Katekyou Hitman Reborn! (Anime) add

Katekyoshi Hitman Reborn! is an excellent example of how intriguing shounen manga can be with the right mixture of comedy, action, suspense and the flawless integration of the mafia and fantasy themes. The main protagonist Tsuna, at first glance, seems to have a defeatist attitude and comes off as pathetic, failing about everything, his studies, sports and even romance. Then our reluctant hero meets a mysterious infant hitman called Reborn who is recuited to be Tsuna's tutor because Tsuna is the 10th boss of the Vongola Family, a powerful and influential mafia family to much to Tsuna's dismay!

Story:
The Story is one of the best I ... have come across in a while with the plot initially having large amounts of comedy and stupidity but goes on to include much darker themes later on. The anime starts of slowly introducing each character and establishing the bonds between them. It then goes on to have one the best concepts and plot I have come across. The plot was fairly consistent with the action and comedy sequences that keep the audience entertained and with just the right amount suspense, leaving the audience eager for the next episode. There are well thought out powers and weaponry that Tsuna and his guardians use to face challenges and save the day proving that though the mafia may be considered criminal syndicates but the Vongola are different.

Art:
The art is excellent and the hero looks extremely cool while defeating villains. The equipment and weapons, pets, clothing and characters are well planned, well drawn and unique. I especially loved the Vongola Coat of Arms and Tsuna drawn in Hyper Dying Will Mode. Unlike most shounen manga, The character's clothing changes which is a fact that I love! Even the irritating underwear scene had him don a different pair each time...Though he does have the tyipcal shounen hero's orange color scheme, a popular trend with shonen manga. (I refer to Naurto and Goku's clothing and Ichigo's hair)

Sound:
The openings and the endings were quite good. I failed to notice any character specific battle music which is a change from normal anime which has music for each character. Tthe music is subtle and suitable to the situation and does not overwhelm the senses and distract. Tsuna's seiyu does an excellent job and Tsuna's voice in HDWM is slightly more mature than normal.

Character:
The characters are well developed and realistic and the hero forms a buffer between egos that may otherwise clash, a valuble leadership skill. Tsuna dislikes vilence but once provoked is a deadly force top be reckoned with. Gokudera with his Zeal, Yamamoto and his calm and laid back nature, Ryohei and his Passionate, Kyoya with his Aflooness, Lambo and his Cowardice and Mukuro and his claim to have a personal agenda is understood and is held together by Tsuna who forms the "glue" that holds his guardians together.

Enjoyment:
Negative points:
I have enjoyed every episode. Though there were things that annoyed me.
1. Tha actual plot starts after 20 episodes.
2.The lead is irritating for the first 20 episodes with his dying will underwear scenes! I must say it was extremely funny but watching the same sequence for over 20 episodes makes you annoyed at Tsuna! I do not understand the point of it. Tsuna goes on to nbecoming super cool later on.
3. The Recap and Omake sections take up too much of the episodes time not to mention recap episodes!!
Despite this, the story arcs are well connected and the balance between action and comedy well maintained.

I strongly recommend this series to shounen fans!! I give this series a 9/10 and inspite of the drawbacks, it was excellent and entertaining. The plot, characters and art are strong points!

Tsubasa: Tokyo Revelations (Anime) add

Recommended

Tokyo Revelations made the two whole season of an already fantastic show seem childish. The story is darker, bloodier and fight scenes even better. Sakura even seemed to have matured and is getting a bit more independent also the four main characters bonds seem to be even deeper than before.

In my opinion Superb!! Plus the crossover characters were an added bonus!
