I recommend you to watch this episode before the debut of the season 2, like one day before, then you'll remember all that happened and don't need to rewatch the entire first season.

No final anunciaram a segunda temporada para outubro, mas todos já sabiam disso.

O anime é divertido em várias partes, mas teve muita coisa que pareceu arrastada pra mim, uma coisa que me incomodou um pouco foi não entender nada durante vários episódios, não parecia ter uma progressão significativa para mim, só após uns 8 a 9 episódios que pareceu que o anime me estava dando algumas respostas. Isso pode agradar ou desagradar dependendo da pessoa, no meu caso, foi algo negativo que me fez perder um pouco o interesse em terminar a obra.
Outro ponto negativo ao meu ver foi como as coisas eram resolvidas através de sentimentos, lembrando bastante os animes do gênero shounen sem dar muitas explicações do porquê. Eu costumo não dar muita importância pra isso, mas dessa vez me incomodou.
Algo que vale destacar como ponto positivo é animação e as personagens, a animação é linda, fluida e muito bem feita, as cores são vividas e fortes, não pensei que iria ver tanta qualidade em um anime desse tipo. No que diz respeito a personagens, não tem nenhum personagem ruim, a maioria não são muito bem desenvolvidos, mas é um anime de 13 episódios, não da pra pedir o impossível, as personagens principais são legais, a Papika é extremamente carismática e divertida, ela melhora o clima da série, a Cocona é uma boa personagem, porém, é chata em alguns momentos.
No geral eu gostei, mas não adorei.

Sério, eu gosto muito de assistir a evolução dos personagens em um anime, e quando isso ocorre com um amadurecimento tanto psicológico como físico é melhor ainda, você acompanha os personagens desde a infância até a vida adulta. Os mistérios da obra são muito bem construídos e levam anos (dentro da cronologia da história) para serem desvendados, e o anime não se apressa para resolve-los, pode ser um pouco lento para algumas pessoas, mas acredito que teve o ritmo que precisava ter.
A história é misteriosa desde o começo, você fica com uma sensação estranha desde os primeiros minutos, e isso vai sendo desenvolvido no decorrer da trama, há muitos plot twists e aposto que você não conseguir prever a maioria deles.
Estranhei a animação a principio, mas me acostumei, ela é fluída, mas não possui muitos filtros e embelezamentos digitais, os tons usados são opacos e pendem para cores frias. Acredito que isso é proposital, por causa uma estranheza e também por refletir na frieza como muitas coisas ocorrem na história, essa coloração na minha opinião combina com a obra. Uma coisa que não me agradou muito são as distorções, quando ocorrem mudanças de perspectiva é comum que um rosto ou outro fique estranho, essa parte não sei se foi proposital, mas se você for atento em algum momento isso vai te chamar a atenção e/ou causar desconforto.
Um ponto que eu gostei muito de ver na obra foi a forma como eles abordaram relacionamentos homossexuais, o que é muito importante para o aumento da diversidade e representatividade em obras japonesas, achei que o assunto foi tratado com naturalidade, o que me agradou (e surpreendeu) muito.
Dê uma chance a esse anime, acredito que você não vai se arrepender.
