If the main character was a binding vow within a domain expansion using RCT to heal the cursed womb that birthed this story telling, I might have given this manga a pass.

This is a manga which has way more tell than show. The power system is convoluted and the final battle is proof of this. Gege is great at building suspense but I can’t say the same about the execution.
Everything of note happens off screen. And you have to read a wall of text for any context, and not in a good way like HunterxHunter.

When I read the final chapter I felt nothing. Unlike ... finishing demon slayer or Naruto or Bleach where I felt they were terrible final arcs, With jjk it’s not good, not bad it’s just bland and middle of the road. Feels almost as if Gege gave up after the culling games.

They had me in the first half, literally. The first 11 episodes were outstanding, there was so much character development, great pacing and mystery. The later episodes were intended to pay off on all the aforementioned pros, but somehow it just did not hit the mark. And I really wanted this to be good

The second half failed to be consistent with character development on all fronts. The pacing became slow and felt like three or four episodes could have been resolved within two. And the mystery, well once the curtains were drawn back it just seemed to fall flat. Character motives became clear, and it ... was simply a poor attempt at giving antagonists depth, and the outcome of this ends up falling right back into the shonen troupes that it seemed to be avoiding in the first half.
