It's like what would happen if you put the Uchiha's sharingan illusion ability in a modern era.
I was kinda bored in the beginning it gradually got good as the story picked up. It kinda started like "Boom, you're immediately in the story" without explanation and as you go along with this mystery, the story slowly uncovers information little by little, never i noticed that i was already hooked.
Not that I'm complaining, but i kinda wish there was something more to the story that could've been done to make it more polished, cuz it kinda reminded me of Link Click. There's not much action in
...
this anime because it's story and character-heavy, but i was curious how would they go about the fighting and it was okay, nothing grand or anything.
The characters are great, it's really nice when they dive deep into the characters backstory because it ties into how they've curated their powers to match each of them.
I hope there's season 2 because there's still more room to explore other uses of the powers.

I think it's good, but i wouldn't say it is rushed or something, it's just the story is kinda lacking for me, there are some areas i feel like that could've filled in more, but hey if this gets a kdrama adaption then I'm sure some director or writer will be able to fix what i'm trying to convey. Some parts of the story are very generic as well, especially how they ended it, everytime i see a cliche thing i'm like "Ahh it's that thing again for plot convenience" but it's not annoying or anything.
The characters are okay, there's a lot of characters here,
...
but mainly focused on the mc and the vampire and maybe the reporter girl as well, so other side characters didn't really get that much depth of exploration to them, aside from the ones that are linked to the MC.
Maybe it's just me, since i'm not much into crime type of person, hence why i didn't really fully enjoy this, but i can appreciate this kind of story when it's done well.
So yeah.

Yep, this title is really hype. Right away my main problem is the pacing is soooo so so fast for the first at least 30-50 chapters. Like bro, give the mc some time to process everything, they even skipped the training arc after he got the powers, its like "You got powers now, time to be hero because you're on your own" and then a few pages of "wtf just happened" to "here's the next enemy". Some parts in the early story would've hit more if they dragged it a little, but i guess that's just me. Then once the other humans like the mc
...
got introduced the story finally slowed down and fleshed out every upcoming part. There are a lot of sex scenes as well, like a lot. It felt like I'm almost reading a doujin at this point, but it's part of the story because it's "Human Desires".
The story is very character-driven, and every character here is so relatable, i think i got a lot of iconic lines here because every character is just a "he's just like me frrrrr" thing HAHAHAHA everybody is depressed, they just wanna suicide, but oh i guess the world doesn't let them to. I would say it is on with the current state of the world when it comes to mental health.
Another thing that adds to the fast pacing of the story, is because the art is so god tier! It's so detailed and that's why every chapter only has 18-20 pages at most. You can tell the artist put his heart and soul into it because every panel are wallpaper wallpaper-worthy, and the designs are also very good. Though about near the end though you can see it starts to take a toll on the artist because the hairs of every character got simpler and sometimes there's no shading on the characters and monsters, but it's still good.
Overall, great manga. This title is what would happen if the depressed side of social media becomes a manga.

My god, when i first read this back in high school i found it very boring af so i immediately dropped it after chapter 6. I tried picking it up over and over, but i couldn't get past 10 chapters. Now that I'm reading it as a conscious adult, i still found it boring in the beginning, but after i got past chapter 20 the chemistry of FL and ML started to show, then as i kept going, more and more i found the story really cute and wholesome. I think it was around chapter 100 when i couldn't stop reading, because of the way
...
every chapter ends with a cliffhanger, and it's so seamlessly continuous to the next chapter, unlike in the early chapters where it would just end like episodic skits, you can tell the author became mindful with the control of the pacing. I also love how as you read through the 2nd half of the story, gradually the scale gets bigger and starts expanding on the other characters, but it didn't seem like a lot to take in because the author paid attention to the divide of screentime, so it didn't seem like the other side plots took over the spotlight of the main story.
Art is really cute and simple, but if it's about spirit fingers or ML it's so sunshine and rainbows. I bet the artist studied or maybe took a lot of references in fashion because it's so amazing to see the poses and bodyline of each character.
Overall, good webtoon, don't judge it by its title and cover, because it's actually a really cute story.

Final Fantasy x Blood Blockade Battlefront
I wasn't really expecting anything when i clicked the first episode, but the thumbnail seemed interesting so i watched it.
This is my first 3D donghua, I've watched a couple of 2D donghua back in the day and they were all okay, but this one? Man, i was blown away by the first 3 episodes of this series. The animation is so unnecessarily great, they didn't have to go super hard on this one. Every shot is filled with passion, it's very meticulously planned the way they directed the scenes, man i could comment all day about the cinematography of this
...
series, but bottom line the animation is so good.
The story is like your typical shounen, zero-to-hero mc, super fast-paced and etc., i didn't mind the story going so fast in the beginning, but once they've fully introduced the mc and the other things in this series, they've started slowing down and taking their time building things up. I wouldn't say the story is top-tier, but it's good.
The characters are all slick, they're all chinese coded, and it doesn't look like anime-ish characters. Loved the mc, i think he's a great character. I also loved General Zhao, i didn't expect they'd managed to make me invested in a side character in a short amount of time and make me cry. That female character who used spear with fire element, she's so badass and so haaawwwwttt as well. I could go on, but yeah i like every character here so far. There's only one season, so they haven't had the time to build up every character yet fully, but i liked what i got so far.
Music is good when it needs to be, but there are times where the music choices feel off, but never mind that since it doesn't really deteriorate me from my watching experience.
Overall, great series. Should give it a try, if you want a break from anime.

There's no need to dilly dally, we all wanna read this to get horny, but i wasn't expecting were going illegal with this one, cuz wtf was that main couple!!! Aside from that everything else was okay.
The story is so Ultraman inspired, but if it went the doujin route. I don't really know what to tell much about the story, it's just a girl who can turn into a giant like Diane from Seven Deadly Sins, fight giant aliens or even satan himself, but she's naked every time, even the elastic suit that the America gave still got ripped to shreds. The beginning is like
...
whatever, but the rest is just mostly fighting, and then there's sex between an adult and a minor. I still managed to finish it cuz it's somewhat interesting to see a giant kill another giant and i'm also curious how far the craziness will go. The mystery of how things were happening in the manga was also making me want to keep reading, but the reveal was like "okay, that's just bullshit".
The characters don't have that much depth to them, i would say i don't have a favorite character in this one or a character that i like, they're all pretty bland. The manga is only 80ish chapters and because it's mostly fighting and sex it didn't really have the time to develop the characters.
Art is hot btw, and the monster designs were sick.
Overall, meh manga. I... don't... think... i would recommend this one or i just have mixed feelings about whether to recommend it or not to others.

I was hyped when i discovered that there's a sequel because reading through the last arc of the prequel, i can tell that there's so much to the world of this manga, but it feels like we're just barely scratching the surface and that's what the Second Contact delivered.
The story is pretty straightforward, they're facing off against another yakuza group that resides in a neighboring city that also has a contract with another Hitman organization, that's pretty much the entirety of the sequel, and when you read that, it's pretty hype. It started off pretty meh, since there was a time skip cuz as we
...
know our mc set off to travel across japan to help people, so there was a lot of catching up on what they've been up to and for the side characters as well. The real spice of the story was good, but i wouldn't say it blew me away because there was just something about it that didn't impress me. Even though i knew that the good guys were gonna win in the end, i was still curious how it's gonna go down. Since the scale of the story looks double the size of the prequel, I was expecting some kind of all-out war between both sides, but that pretty much didn't really happen, it's only between Hitmans vs Hitmans. It's pretty one-sided, too short i would say, i think this could've been at least 100-150 chapters and the conclusion was just okay. The twist that they brought up in the ending was out of nowhere, but not shocking, it's just "okay, that's just disappointing". The comedy is still good as ever, i think it's as good as the prequel.
The characters in this part have matured a lot, especially the ones that we've been following, i like that you can see their growth as properly functioning people in society and you see it when they fight enemies, they try to remind themselves that they're not the same killing puppets as they used to be, they need to hold back themselves so they won't kill the other person, so that's kinda way of telling that they've been nerfed in some senses. And that's also another part that i wouldn't say i don't like, but more like i didn't appreciate, even though they've shown that their fighting skills have gone rusty since the last story, that wasn't the case for our mc at all since he pretty much soloed the enemy side. I don't know if the villains were just written to be weak, cuz from how they were built up, it looks like they can put up a fight, so i don't know how they were defeated by just one man who's not been fighting for god knows how long its been.
So yeah, that's pretty much my opinion for this sequel. It's still good, i still highly recommend you read it.

I don't know what on earth i just watched. It felt like I was watching Powerpuff Girls, except if they're horny all the time and want to kiss each other so badly.
The show is very stylish, it has a very solid concept and theming all through its entirety, that's how i was able to finish it because i was just amazed that they had this idea that they wanted to realize and stuck with it till the end.
The story was meh, i wouldn't say i didn't pay that much attention, it's just i couldn't give an f, it's just alright. There were some that I
...
think they just glossed over, i was really curious if they'll explain the other stuff that they showed in the show, but it's just busy being horny.
The characters are okay, they are all very distinct from each other, i wouldn't say they are all one-dimensional because as you go deep in the show they'll start showing different sides of the characters, but i don't have a favorite or maybe i have... i think i like Ginko when she's in her bear form because i like the way she expresses her desire towards our mc, like when she goes "grrr grrr grrr, gawr gawr" you'll get what i mean when you watch the show.
Overall, I'm still contemplating what my final feelings toward this one, even though i'm a sucker for yuri. I rate it 5 because i don't know if this is gonna be one of my guilty pleasure shows.

I kinda like this season, but there's also some reason not to like it.
The story picks up where season 1 left off, and it starts off with a fight right away and it's hype. In the beginning, it kinda took its time to set the season, but then it started falling off halfway because the pacing got really fast and then things started happening for the sake of moving the plot, then more characters got introduced and there are a lot more people involved now, the stakes are high which is pretty lit. One thing that is still here that made me annoy the fuck
...
out of me during season one was the comedy, again it's okay if you do it when it's just the characters bantering and shit, but it annoys me when you do it during serious scenes, if else, then i can't take the story seriously. Then we had some plot twists happening which i really liked, that kinda got me interested in the story.
I really like the animation for this season, by like, i mean a lot, because there's a big step up in the animation, i mean this is years after season 1 was made and the technology for animating became a lot better, so wouldn't be weird if the animation was still the same as season 1? There's a slight difference in the character designs as well, i almost couldn't recognize lenalee because her design looks so much different than season 1. We got new types of monsters too.
In the beginning, i didn't really notice it until Bookman spoke and i was like "Wait... that's not your VA, that's jiraiya's VA" and then it suddenly unveiled the curtain for other characters and i started hearing the differences in their voices and i was like "Oh wait! New voice actors!?!?" but props to some of them because they kinda sound similar, so it wasn't really off putting that much.
Overall, this season was okay for me, because it's a full pack of action and twists and turns, but with just a bad pacing. I'm just happy because this is the tone and vibe that I was looking for in season 1.

Oh my god, if it wasn't for this being part of my childhood, I wouldn't have bothered finishing it, I think I would've legit dropped it.
The first 5-10 episodes or so were hype, I really like the vibe and what it's trying to tell and show us, but oh my god, the following episodes after that up until episode 50ish were some endless rollercoaster filler ride. I was watching, right? and then thought to myself "When will the story start picking up?" because every episode is just the same formula, they go to a new place, new side characters get introduced and ooohhh suddenly there's
...
akuma in this town and then end of the episode. Soooo BORING! although every now and then, new exorcists get introduced, but still... you didn't need to drag the shit out of this because it got repetitive over time, and then when i finally got to around episode 60, finally! the story started moving and it got a little bit interesting. I don't think i even remember the first 50 episodes of this show, i think i can even recite to you the 2nd half scene by scene because that's where the real shit starts to happen. This anime could've been shortened if you cut out the fluffy parts.
Again, the story... HYPE! but it had some flaws. What i also didn't like is that, it's trying so hard to be comedy, like wtf? Light comedy would've been fine, but it's really trying to imitate that goofiness that you see in one piece, but it just doesn't check out to me at all, because of the contrast of the story being dark and cruel. Also, how can you take this seriously when the show itself doesn't take itself seriously too, because it kept inserting funny moments in serious scenes, even the enemy doesn't feel scary and intimidating at all because of how comedic they are at times.
The characters, most of them didn't even catch my attention at all, no one is interesting because there's not much character exploration that happened at all, so it's hard for me to get invested in any of these characters. I think the only character that really piqued my interest was Marshall Tiedoll, i found him quite interesting, he has some emotional sides to him and his power is so badass. Lavi was that one character that i kept remembering in my head since my childhood because i find his powers amazing, but watching this now, i don't even know what to say and he kept using the same attack as well, we see his hammer having a lot of magic circles, but he still uses the same fire attack, like come on.
The animation really shows how old this anime, it's not that bad, it is pretty decent, so if you're looking for amazing sakuga, you won't find it here. The character designs are lit, it's very gothic, the way the world in here was drawn feels pretty same, they made every country look pretty much the same, except for asian countries and maybe some other well known western ones.
