The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.
Many people depicted that Anime are the shows fondly about unique drawing and many amounts of fan-service that has hypes all around to their favorite series. And I do get to see many amounts of boorish shows that it suppresses you of not liking the anime because of how common to the other titles are; in that many people says, “This has better than that anime, or that is better than this anime”. We do have ourselves struck esteem on opinions of the shows.
But one of which in this seasonal airing show have brought shining stars and glimmer of
...
hope to the new age of anime.
To begin with, we have to start the good part of [Oshi no Ko].
Where the entertainment industry centers around Show-biz & Idols that lies around the people who you love watching on your big screen.
Ai Hoshino, the stardom’s biggest Idol that beloved by many fans that caught their attention with her cheerful act, vibrant personality, and a maiden voice. And one last of them all that many fans do not know that she’s an endearing mother.
With all the actors/actress that we’ve known and love, its good that us fan have to keep supporting their back since that’s what pushes them to be better at their job and many more fans will accompany them for their success. Ai pushes to be one of the greats in her generation since she has the vigor in her charm and with an outstanding innovation as she ranks up to the leaderboard of followers.
With so many possibilities to become the very best in the film/idol industry, but there is also the bad part to not to be into.
In speaking of followers, it is suspected to see that there's these so called "Social Media" and it has many fatal flaws. Which it comes the people in the internet. Internet is an amazing tool to use of however you like it, and knowing that there are also people who loves to abolish things that would end up shaming everyone. [Oshi no Ko] also centered around the Internet's fanbase of how they love Ai so much and they would continuously supporting her. And another hand is to discriminate, calling her that she has a bad personality and a selfish girl who wants to stand out for herself. You can never withdrawn the fact that there are people like that loves destroying the images of the people just to seek enough attention for themselves and not even showing who they are.
That's the only bad part. And the worse part is the Ugly truth.
There are numerous news about young Celebrities have left their lives in the face of the Earth. On April 19, 2023. In Korea, a Korean pop Idol, Moon Bin have died.
Cause of Death? Suicide.
What made him Suicide? "His decision are still not known at the moment".
Here hoping that is not another cyberbullying.
But you can see the pattern here that we live in a modern day that countless of Celebrities have died due to Media. And the most common site that many people does not take it slightly is Twitter. And to keep it extra, there are more people have died because of Internet in the past. Setting outside than Japan. Here are 3 great examples:
Hana Kimura was a pro wrestler. On her debut on a "Staged" show called Terrace House, there was a part of her that the producers wanted Hana to act violently towards her co-star(Kobayashi), and told her to slap him. She refused and settled on knocking off the hat instead. Producers wanted her to be obnoxious and play uphill character to help the ratings and later confirmed by Kobayashi that the moment was staged. And when the episode aired, people were ranting and started calling things to her that she should kill herself.
5 days later, after receiving many comments. Hana Kimura has passed.
Haruma Miura was a singer/actor. He was a great singer and actor, knowing his live-action works like as Eren Yeager in Shigeki no Kyojin(AoT) and Shouta Kazehaya in Kimi ni Todoke. Knowing that he has passed away because of censurer people. His agency even has the audacity to spread misinformation that he was targeted by CIA.
So not only there are piece of sh*t people that caused himself to death, but his agency had the balls to tell a false rumors to his loving fans.
Last but not least. (Warning: i dont want to say this much, but you may find this disturbing to read. you've been warned)
Back in May 2016, a 20 y/o singer and actress Mayu Tomita was stabbed in the neck and chest multiple times by an online stalker after rejecting his gifts to her for months. Before anything that happened, Mayu already feared for her safety then she contacted the authorities that an online stalker could potentially approach her, but the police dismissed the case since his motives are not big of a deal. Sooner than later, 12 days after contacting the police. The stalker found Mayu and stabbed her 61 times with a pocket knife.
Luckily, there were no signs of hitting the vital organs, but received 34 stab wounds, partially blind on her left eye and having PTSD. She is still in fact alive today, but she will never forget that day.
Being in the Entertainment Industry is a 50/50 in my opinion. But the half of it is just straight down to the rabbit hole.
As an enthusiast of myself watching films from time to time. There are many movies and tv shows that centered around the show business and they are quite intriguing to watch. But it never surpasses the beyond beliefs knowing [Oshi no Ko]’s story.

A Silent Voice is a story about forgiveness.
It's a story about how we forgive others.
But also, it's a story about how we forgive ourselves.
At some point in our lives, were going to end up hurting or offending someone.
Whether it's a major or minor offense, whether that be by accident or purposefully.
Whether it be through the harmful things we do or the helpful things we fail to do.
It's a fact of life that at some point, we will be the source of one's pain.
And from doing so, we experience of feeling of regret, shame, and guilt.
And maybe unable to forgive ourselves because of it.
...
A Silent Voice is not just a story, it's a lesson on humanity, compassion, and growth.
It's a reminder that forgiveness is not a weakness, but a strength, and it's never too late to make things right.

“Edgerunner(s) is so good, but it’s not perfect” -Cr1TiKaL
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is one of the shows that is produced by western people. It is so damn good that I feel like I’m watching a different show. Even from within the powerhouse of animation by Studio Trigger. They have to make the show more of an animesque, so that non-anime viewers can watch their favorite game and so are anime fans can be the same way that they are.
Set in the same place as the game Cyberpunk 2077. A dystopian city where criminals are common at all times, doesn’t mean that all criminals are bad right? Wrong.
...
The people in Night City are talented, artistic, and special. What I mean in those terms is that they can be imaginative about what they can do to get to the top of Arasaka Tower. And those talented people that I was saying, they only have one way ticket to go at the top. And it will actually cost blood, sweat, and tears.
Here we start with our main character David Martinez, a delinquent kid that has nothing to do but live his life while his mom is overworking herself to death just to make her son have the life that she wants for him. When both of them were trying to get themselves back home, they got into a crossfire on the road leading David and his mom to be left at the side of the road. David was utterly fine, but his mom on the other hand seemed to be in a coma. Few hours later, death approached the mother’s life. Leaving him with the money that she saved and a gift that will change his life forever to rule the Night City.
Our main protagonist is subjectively aware that he can be more malfeasance than to other cyberterrorists. Their hostility can be manifest in their surroundings that people around him should not be trusted, not even his friends. The only person he can rely on is himself.
Edgerunners is full of mature scenes. It has blood, nudity, and gore, things that wouldn't be possible if it were a TV anime. But since the script was supported by the western. It is safe to assume that studio Trigger has the green lights to make the series what it is now.

To Eve: The way you golf is ridiculous.
Eve: To me, it’s the proper way to golf.
Birdie Wing: Golf Girls’ Story is Decent to watch. I'm not calling it “Mid”. It just had ups and downs from start to finish.
Plus, I never would’ve thought that golf in anime is pretty entertaining…unless you put some absurd amount of things that Anime could do. Like, a Baddie Snake Woman, moving Facility that can make the world crumble, Mafias’ betting all their money to golf, VR that is identical to real life experience. You name it! There’s more things to say, but I’m not here to diss the show.
Yet.
I’m
...
here to find out what got me to like watching this show.
First and foremost. The intro.
I already found that the first three of the episodes were somewhat decent to watch. Because I was talking to my brother and told him, “Dude, Idk man. Golf in Anime f***ing slaps”. It already shows how the characters build up to their background stories. And how great they use the OST and Animation. It was great.
Until I watched episode 4, 5, and 6.
This is where everything changed my perspective from watching the show.
It introduces new characters where Eve is living in a life of poverty. BUT
On Episode 4, Mafias were introduced. Underground Pro Golfers. And a huge facility is made just for golfing. It got me thinking. WTF is happening. Onto episode 5, VR is somewhat big. Even professional players are taking it. And lastly. Episode 6. Eve’s instructor named Leo was introduced. Snake Woman became Eve’s caddy. So much trusting a person in a mafia people. And Leo, Eve’s instructor. He used to teach Rose right before she loses her arm(one of Eve’s rivals in episode 7).
With an abominable amount of games. Finally, Eve won her underground tournament which led to having a loathsome amount of money. So after winning a mafia game, Eve gets targeted by the Mafia Boss.
And here she must set a new arc.
Arriving in Japan
While she runs away from her home country. As she set foot in Japan to find her Rival ”Aoi” . And not knowing a single thing about their language. Until….. I have to say this unless this wouldn’t complete my review.
**Eve said in English, “Are you from here? I asked if you’re from here. Do you understand what I’m saying?”. Ichina replied, “I’m still studying English”. Eve in out of nowhere said in Japanese, “You from around here?” Ichina questioned her, “You can speak Japanese!?” And Eve replied to herself in Nihonjin, “I guess I can. Why, I wonder?”**
I paused for a moment. And straight up bursting laughter. I was dying from laughing. And It got me thinking. (I need to write a review on this. I need this so badly.)
At this point, I don’t even know if this show is valid for its sports genre. Sure it is pretty entertaining if they focused on golfing and with rivalries, but it just went like. **?What?**
And what also got me thinking in every episode is the “Mr. Incredible becoming Uncanny” meme. It started good and slowly pacing to unusual progression and gets right back to the track where it became a golf again.
And thus the review is done.
Story- [I don’t find this an average show. I just find it uncertain]
Progression- [I know what is happening, but at the same time. I Don’t.]
Art- [The Art caught me first because of how well detailed the surroundings are]
OST- [It’s good they added a banger soundtrack, or else the Swinging sequence wouldn’t be working out]
Enjoyment- [Golf parts are entertaining. I had some laughs at the middle part of series and overall…]
Overall- 5/10
This is my own experience of watching this show. If you find it more entertaining than in my standard. Good for you.
And to people who hasn't watch the show and reading this review. Give it a try.

Piripiri Koumei is the Hidden gem this season. Or it was.
Despite the popularity of the Opening Theme. Ya boy Kongming! Just burst out of nowhere this Spring Season because of one thing and left people in shock of how catchy it is.
Now that I'm done with that one thing of why this show is overrated. Let's move on with the real deal.
Piripi Koumei started during the Great war in China around the year 200 AD. When the great tactician Zhung Liang a.k.a. Kongming fell very ill during his service, he was hoping his next life doesn't revolve around war and wished to be reborn
...
in a peaceful time.
Fair Warning for Isekai lovers. Mr. Kongming did not travel into another world. But he was brought back to the same world in a different timeline. Sorry, Isekai-ers.
Jumping into the modern time. Kongming woke up in the alley street of Shibuya and saw skulls walking around him and thinking he was sent into hell's paradise. While he was being punished (by drinking tequila) he was guided inside of a Domain..whoops wrong anime. I meant Club. oh silly me.
When he was trapped inside, he expected to be punished more by the devil. But when the heroine came out singing, Kongming’s whole experience inside the hell has cleansed his thoughts, and began to theorize if he was actually in hell or not. As he started listening more and more, he came to realize that he is not in the devil's playground.
Eiko, our songstress of the show. Was declined by many producers as she is not worthy enough to be part of a musician in her singing career. As she got declined many times, she started getting a small gig instead inside the bar club, but not so many people cheered on her until Kongming gratified her performance.
So when a failed singer teams up with a 200 IQ strategist, they can begin their story as a duo and build her recognition towards the people who like music. On and on, Kongming insisted that he will help Eiko reach the top to fulfill her dream. First, they must start small. Second, get sponsored. Lastly, perform in the busiest place in Japan. Eiko has reached the top performance of all in Tokyo, with the big help of her co-worker/tactician/manager/ and a friend.
•Story is awfully good. It reaches the part where all characters are likable and had a good time to build up the characters.
•Art is really nice. It captures the scenery of Tokyo and manages not to use CGI when it's crowded.
•Sound captures most of its spotlight. It held many performances for just 12 episodes, yes, it was repetitive. I will assure you that there are seven original soundtracks excluding the Opening, Ending themes, and the rap songs.
•Enjoyment is top-notch. I highly appreciate my time watching this show, and there were some small details that I love about it too.

Redo of Healer is not something to watch. But to experience it.
Redo of Healer… Where do I even start? I am writing this now as what comes to my head as I just finished re-watching redo of healer. Yes, I Re-Watched This doo doo show. And NO, I did not watch the sex scenes again. I SKIPPED them (eventhough I watched it in uncensored version, I get the gist of what im doing in my life..but goddamn this even makes it worse). I only rewatched the first 4 episodes because I wasn’t fully invested halfway through the episode because of how eerie it is. Now
...
first off, as I started watching anime back in March 2021, I began my journey of just watching anime. As I progress through social media just to browse to my watchlist. It came to my eyes that there's this one show that can easily meming through Facebook, Reddit, MAL, AniList, etc. And this was the show. Redo of Healer or Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi. As I scroll through these platforms. I began my research as to what this story is and thinking. “What could go wrong”?. More only. People said that this is the worst anime ever or Best anime ever (according to the sources that I found in this website). Only generic or incel people can say the “Best” about this show. But you know what. Let people think what’s best or worst. I don’t really like antagonizing the show when it comes to other users' ratings. Because all the ratings in MAL and some other websites are a bit rigged.
And here’s my motto:
“Watch it and move On.”
Now let's jump right into the story.
We already hear and see the generic voice with Naked Flare-same on the screen. “Like damn, I wasn’t ready yet but GODDayyUMM. They did make this show quite interesting with Keyaru saying everything in past-sentences''. And he talks about how his life was over but then… Even more antagonizing voice has risen to Keyaru’s words that he can go back in time and redo everything. But not everything, he will redo his life but him being the maniac this time that he can brutalize and erase all the memories of all the people who’ve hurt him. As we progress through the first episode. We reached the point where he was innocently sweet fellow villager from the alternate time, and while he was doing his farming business, he was conducted with an Apple. Yes, an Apple. Which led to him having his memories back from the alternate time where he’s back to his Generic Over Power MC himself. And he began to theorize every way possible for him to get his revenge. Of course, he got it every way possible. And I almost forgot to say that there are Seggs scenes, a lot of them. But not as many as actual hentai anime. I am not a man of culture, but I do watch a lot of Pron. Which they are seemingly familiar.
People need to re-watch this twice just to make sure if you did enjoy the STORY. Not The SEGGS scenes. The first watch is just for fun. Have a great time. And Second re-watch is a must Understanding if you still can handle it.
Story- I don’t like it. It’s trash. I don’t recommend this even as a Hentai show. So don’t watch it.
Art- It’s a fine art but the outlandishness of the world isn’t really good and I don't like how mostly ugly the characters are.
Worldbuilding- It has some nice environments but it's so empty most of the time.
Character- Uhhhh.
Enjoyment- Not even close
OVERALL- 1/10
I will put this as a highly recommended show. It's not that I liked it, but need someone to experience this with me.

When it comes to the entertainment industry….
We see all the actors/artists/idols that are way too amazing at their job when they show off what they can do to entertain people that are watching them. But when it comes to off-screen, they deliberately think to know what is right and try not to f*ck up and not ruin their career for the people who are supporting them.
I will not talk about this Manga first but I will in a minute if you read the first part. What I need to discuss here first is what all Actors/Artists do when they have a high-end career, while all
...
over the world are watching them, and also what their story is about what’s behind being part of the Entertainment Industry. (soo.. spoilers free ahead)
To start,
The Entertainment Industry is some of the best and worst that happen in people’s lives. Why? Because People on social media are some of the worst things that can ruin a professional’s life. They can criticize everyone without showing their face and can also easily get away with it because no one knows who that person was. And the only best thing that they can do is just love what they’re doing. When I’m trying to say “People”. I meant social media outlets. Like..:
Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and the most common place where some of the people are the worst is Twitter. Twitter is one of the biggest social media platforms, but what’s in there is like a hellhole. It’s good now. I think. Since a multi-billionaire is the owner now and knows how social media works. It’s a bit safe to say that the platform depends on him pretty well.
Actors/artists have sacrificed everything just for their fame, but a one big or teenie tiny flop. Their whole blood, sweat, and tears that they put in can lead to disgrace for the whole community. Like, let’s talk about the controversies right now. For example, Johnny Depp (JD) and Amber Heard:
Amber accused JD of being abusive to her.
- JD lost his contract to Disney
- After almost two decades of being part of Disney.
- Few weeks after the start of the trial, Disney wanted him back but JD turn down a $300 mil. contract, even though they wanted to bring him back.
With just this kind of exposure to the entire world, JD had a hard time trying to figure out what is best for him. People still love him because of how many sources have defended him with his colleagues. Amber on the other hand. She merely lost everything. I don’t know how many she lost, but all I do know is her role in Aquaman, her parents' reputation, and this trial.
What I can also tell is a famous Japanese wrestler. But this lost the life of a person. And name was Kimura Hana. As being part/moderator for Ai’s Fanclub translation, it is safe to say that and hard too at the same time that this part here is what made me hate social media.
So who was Hana Kimura? She was a wrestler born on Sep. 3, 1997, in Tokyo Japan. On May 18, 2020, days before her death. She received many death threats across the internationals by just this STAGED show called Terrace House. Her overreaction in the show with just a staged act made an outburst through social media and direct messaging her and leaving to cyberbullying. And on the 23rd of May 2020, the news spread to announce that Kimura Hana had died at the age of 22. The cause was cyberbullying.
I know this is just a review, but I have to leave this behind. [If you or friends or relatives are having suicidal thoughts, Call these numbers:]

To conclude the reality review here’s the last part.
Overall, these actors, artists, idols, heroes, or whatever you want to call them. They’re humans too but with a different lifestyle compared to many others. We know how famous they are and they just hope they're doing what we're doing. We can be fanboying or fangirling, yet don’t do it overboard. Might as well they creep out on you. What I’m trying to say here is to treat them the same way as you walk past people on the street.
Now Let’s get on with this Actual review. (This is where the spoiler starts)
To this sequence of a review. I love portraying things in real life and what can happen if this manga or an anime is staggered in real-life scenarios. Even though it's Supernatural, Sci-fi, or Fantasy, I still love reflecting on things in a psychedelic way. And this is one of them.
Oshi no Ko or My Star has never reached my Star in a controversial way of liking the characters. But it reached me of losing someone that you love the most. I will summarize the whole First volume
Story:
It began with a story where the world of showbiz shows where the Twin siblings have made an invitational event. ~~~~~
Let’s go to the past first, Gorou Amemiya is a countryside gynecologist who has the biggest fan for an Idol. Her name is Ai Hoshino. She is beloved by many fans all over Japan. She made a weapon for the people who kept loving her. “Lying”. Although Lying is one of the reasons why she was beloved by many fans, Lying is her form of love. Even if she doesn’t know what love is, she expresses everything by not knowing a single thing about love.
Cutting back to Gorou, he was never a fan of any Idols until one of his patients got him to like them. The name is Serina Tendouju, she was first revealed as a patient which made Gorou start obsessing over Ai Hoshino, as to Ai being Sarina's Star/Idol. Sarina, however, died due to her anaplastic astrocytoma disease.
A few months in, while Gorou is fanboying over Ai, later he found that she’s in poor health but on top of that, she is not in poor condition in the first place however she is 20 weeks pregnant with a twin inside her belly. And Gorou talked to Ai about how big of a fan he is and will deliver the baby well to her. Until a stalker found out where Ai was and killed Gorou and was not safely delivered by him. In spite of the fact that he got murdered, he was reborn as one of Ai’s twin children, Aquamarine (Aqua), and Serina is the other twin, but Ai named her Ruby.
As they get reincarnated, they still know themselves before, but they do not know how close they are to their past life. In a few chapters, Ai is secretly hiding her twins, or else the people in her fanbase will grow an outrageous headlines. And so, Ai is struggling on getting back on track because of her long hiatus in the industry. Though she was offered to be on screen, since then she made her way out again of having a big amount of fanbase and even brought her son Aqua to do some screening with her. With Ai’s multiple screening times, the Hoshino family has been living quietly without people knowing around the world that she has twin children. Until the stalker finds her again and then stabs her with a knife. This began the life of the twins and took over the whole story. In the final chapter of the first volume, the twins have aged in their teenage years, yet Aqua cannot forget the loss of her mother’s life. So he began plotting his revenge. The one person who only knows that Ai has a children. Is the twins' father.
In every volume, Aqua and Ruby are living their lives, but both of them have different paths. Ruby path is becoming an idol just like her mother, while Aqua must get into the Entertainment Industry to find their father.
Thus this finishes my summary. There might be some missing characters though, but I just want to prioritize the family point of view. Which is only the first volume that I very like.
I never been so affectionate that much to any character in Anime, but Ai's death have been traumatic experience for me. I really do have soft spots whenever there's Loving and Caring mother that builds at the point where the children have the sense that she is home. Her hugs is the home itself. And Aka Akasaka hitting us the part where she died right in front her kid was the biggest blow while reading the manga.
I get that she's a fictional character, but how she told her stories and telling her kids her last words. "I Love You". It made a huge impact to my heart. I can never ever dissolve her words out of my mind.
Losing someone that who cared for you can be the hardest part to deal with in life.

What is an Anime for you if you watch a summer episode? A hot day, beach & sands, wearing kimonos in firework festivals, children running around enjoying their vacation. It's that time of the year when everyone has to feel the warm breeze and they said "ahhh.. atsuida ne?". That is my definition when I'm watching a summer episode. But this movie is not based on any of those topics.
⚠Spoilers⚠
When summer vacation is at last, three high school students met through social media to meet the Summer Ghost. Here, we started with Tomoya, Aoi, and Ryo; three high schoolers that never met before have come
...
terms to meet a ghost. You're probably wondering why they want to meet this ghost. Is it because they're bored? Being childish? Bust some ghost? or maybe because they have problems with their lives trying to figure out if they have any reason to live. That could be it! While we progress through the movie, we see that the 3 main characters are having flashbacks. Tomoya is having a rough time in his art school, Aoi is getting bullied, and Ryo has terminal cancer.
To encounter the Summer Ghost, they need to buy fireworks and light up to meet Ayane "Summer Ghost" Satou. She had long hair and wore a black dress and was able to fly from over the clouds to under the ground. To build up her story, Tomoya and the rest were certain that she committed suicide then later on she told Tomoya that she was murdered 3 years ago and figured out what he could do for her now. Knowing the fact that she got brutally murdered, Tomoya cannot think of anything other than help to find her body. He now then ask for Aoi and Ryou's help to find her body.
The story is pretty creative. Sure, they didn't have enough sources from a thirty-nine minutes movie.
Art is amazing. Even though it lacks facial drawings. The scenery gave its best.
Sound is my favorite part. It has the feel of a Jazz, melancholia, mystery, sweet piano & violin duo~~quick cut, upbringing sound. The only way that they could make it more emotional is just to add a great soundtrack to it. And they cleanly portrayed it all in this movie
Characters had different problems, but they feel connected as they are all in despair. Which gave a unique characterization.
8.7/10
-------------------------------------------------------
I have been waiting for this movie to come out to North America ever since I watched the promotional video back in November. I constantly trying to refresh my feed whenever I have time to think about it. And now, I finally watched it.
It's great that Manga adaptation has been serializing for 3 months now. And hoping we could see some more in the future.

Sono Bisque is a Unique S-o-L series
When I say unique, it is something special for me to watch in the anime community. That it has same type of genres but has new and propounding ideas.
And Sono Bisque is one of them.
We see in the first episode that Wakana Gojou is a loner high school student and it was because he had a painful memories of his childhood friend that got no interest of his hobby which are hina dolls and left him with a pitiful words. Since then, he never get any chance to talk to his classmates because he think that they think he's
...
a weird person to talk to if he ever brought up his interest to others.
To morpheme the part of its synopsis, we’ve already encountered a lot of shoujo/seinen/shounen and a lot of josei’s series where it is basically has the same premises in any other anime. (boy meets girl, girl meets boy) but there are rare counts of level that are some series have deeper meanings to their emotions and interests. This happens to be one of them.
And here enters the heroin of the show, Marin Kitagawa. Marin is a unique character to me,(AND NO... Im not a fan of Ecchi) to set aside the Fan Service. Marin is a beautiful character that has boldness and honesty to Gojou both admires and envies him. Instantly, she shares with Gojou her own hobby that loves playing erotic video game and even tries to cosplay the character in the game that she enjoys. And top of that Marin is actually a "Gyaru". Which is a slang for Japanese fashion subculture, where she talk like a modernized teenager in Japan. (this is true btw)
By just knowing some facts about Marin Kitagawa, have you ever heard of cosplay in any other anime genres? No?! D*mn right it's not. That is also one of the reason why Dress-up Darling is such a unique series to me. Sure, story is really good. Art is superb. Sound or OST has the perfect fit for this series. Characters are well liked. And at the same time, fan service had done it again. Which it ticks me a lot of time watching the show. To set the Fan Service aside, Dress-Up Darling is uniquely darn Good series. I can hate some of it, but at the same time, I really can’t hate it at all.
Been reading the manga ever since they announced the Anime adaptation. Of Course that I'm still up to date of the manga where there are also ecchi, but not that many in that adaptation. I still love reading it and hoping that it wouldn't take 100+ more chapters just to end the manga.
And as you can tell that from reading this review, you think that I don't like the ecchi parts. I personally don't mind fan service overall, but if they over done it. I'm done.
At least Dress-Up Darling didn't put it in every episode.{we could only see some glimpse of it}
And if they had put her in those situation at many time, I would have been like . "Yeah, That's Too Much For Now."
They could've done this without a fan-service, but whatever. It's not like it could kill me to look some underwear or make me nosebleed.
I wouldn't have put a diverting score for this series, plus, I could never hate both characters. Mostly on Marin. The voice actress of Marin made the perfect fit for her. I can never appreciate more that they adapted Marin really well the same way as the manga with her eccentric words.
I'm pretty sure that there are some people hate this series because of an “overdone” fan-service. Truth to be told, they're missing the points that this series has related to (staggering about Struggles/Emotions, Introverts, Gyaru, Otaku, Cosplay, and Hobbies). These tags are mostly happening in Japan right now.
To this predicament review.
I give this a review score of a 7.4/10.
I would put this a 8 if it wasn't for some fan service.

"Anime is just a Kids Show"
You might have heard or someone told you that Anime is a kid show. Well they're wrong, as matter of fact, Serial Experiments Lain was released back in 1998. And yet, people still call anime A Kid Show.
This review may be my laziest one, but who gives a F***.
This review is a preference of my change of view and understanding Serial Experiments Lain, it contains reference and resources that I found in the Wired.. i mean.. in the Internet:
What I at least did perceive of Serial Experiments Lain, was 2 concepts. [By Sageswrld]
1. [Memories are merely a record in
...
the timeline] How I view it is that the existence of any matter living or nonliving is only present or can be claimed that it was present at some point in time, is when separate being that can perceive any type of sense (sight, hearing, smell, ect.) proves of that matter being within our existence. It applies the same with any sort of event or action that took place as well. If it's remembered it existed, if it's not remembered, then no being can proof of its existence.
2.[The Wired] Obviously currently pronounced the "Internet" nowadays, is a concept which gives Lain more relevancy throughout the years. As it currently stands, the Internet is a form of escapism, a gateway apart from reality were mass form of information of any kind is stored and continuously being stored for decades to come. As humans we implemented that this gateway will forever be and only be a substitute, hence that reality is our true form of existence that will keep that borderline.
Why it's the major concept is because Lain was released in the late 90s, in which the author acknowledged the fact of media evolving along side with humanity, in a way ahead of its time. To me it holds true in my present and most likely future too.

YouTube Video Title: The Philosophy of SEL
In this video, "Anime Philosopher", she discussed 3 types of topic.
1:Epistemology
Is a study of the nature, origin, and scope of knowledge, epistemic justification, the rationality of belief, and various related issues.
2:Idealism
An idea which asserts that reality, or reality as we can know it, is fundamentally, mentally constructed, or otherwise immaterial.
3:Existentialism
A philosophical Theory or approach that emphasizes the existence of the individual person as a free and responsible agent determining their own development through acts of the will.

All of these sources that I found made me understand more of SEL.
I wouldn't recommend this series to everyone, but if you have a good knowledge and understanding in our society. This might be going to be your top anime.
I might hate this review as much as you do, but please do forgive me, these changed the perspective of watching Serial Experiments Lain.
