One of the most popular manga out there, one piece is definitely a piece of wonder. Sure, it has a few faults, but are they enough to to bash it? I'm not so sure I'll explain why.
STORY=8
Its story is quite simple, a boy named Monkey D Luffy wants to become the pirate king, and he goes on a journey seeking adventure and new crew members. It's not definitely bad, but people are now criticizing its 'repeated' story arcs. They reach a new island, see its culture etc. and then find out that this island is not as peaceful as it seems to be as the
...
are ruled by a dictator like antagonist, the crew gets split and in the end the enemy ends up with a beaten up face. BUT, heres my problem, aren't there many mangas that have repeated story lines? (even though they are not shonen, en example of diamond dust and Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso will be an elaborate one) It does not matter that the story is repeated one, what matters is its execution, of which one piece is a master. The arcs are different in every aspect except for their basic plot.
Another problem is that people are saying that one piece post-time-skip is of lower quality, is strongly disagree with this statement. One piece has always been a manga that has gone up and down for me. I loved Alabasta and Jaya arc, hated skypiea, liked enis lobby arc, disliked Thriller bark, and was blown away by marineford and dressrosa arcs. So no one can say that it is worse then before. And one needs to remember that Oda is building up the second part for another big war. Just like before the time skip. I'm quite sure that it will be better the marinefore. So patience is virtue.
CHARACTERS=9
Oda uses his ultimate move to bring color to his characters, flashback, a move very few people pay heed to. It gives great depth to his characters and ,to be honest, I was moved to tears by Nami's and Robin's as well as Luffy's flashback. And through these flashbacks, secondary characters are also brought to life.
One piece has its fair share of characters that people love and hate.And most of them are diverse in their characters. The most unusual of the pack are made Straw-hat's cre members. I mostly enjoy Luffy's nakama's personalities ( with honorary mention to Robin's , Chopper, Sanji, Usopp, and Luffy ). And then there are people like Enel and Spandam as well that I absouletl despise. Even Blackbeard is an interesting character.
ART=8
One of the many reasons why one piece has not reached world domination is because a lot of people are swayed from reading it due to it's art, which they have termed as 'childish'. I have seen other mangakas draw Sanji, and to be honest, I really do not think that they will give me the same feel to the manga. Deal with it, this art is perfert for one piece.
ENJOYMENT=9
It is the type of manga where it will be more fun and emotional if you read at least 5 chapters together, other wise the pace will kill you. It is one hell of a good read, lets hope that it does not become retarded like it's brothers. (Naruto and Bleach)
OVERALL=8
It can be frustrating at times but I'm quite sure that it will always keep you interested.

Though the manhwa has been completed, I could not find all chapters translated, so here's a short review of the 18 chapters that have been translated.
The initially feared dragons are now just considered to be rare and expensive ingredients. The story follows Insia and her holy sword as they hunt down dragons. The story is original (I have not heard of any similar manga).And for a small manga, it sure did surprise me a lot.Quite a few things occurred that I had not expected.However it is not gripping and sometimes one wants to just stop reading it and put it on hold. The story has
...
so much potential to become better, pity it lasts for only a few more chapters.
The art is good however the fight scenes were not executed smoothly, but it does not matter as one can often understand whats happening.
The weakest aspect are its characters, they are so cliched. However there is one character (Alderose) who seems to have changed a lot and he is does not seem to be even close to my initial evaluation of him, I guess time can change people a lot.
Overall I am enjoying this manhwa, but I feel that its wasting its potential. However the best thing that I liked about this manhwa was its use of common sense in the first few chapters and it has given me some good laughs. However the fan-service can sometimes be annoying and I HATE 'traps', so it can sometimes leave a bitter aftertaste.
Some people will like this manhwa while others will hate it, afterall, taste matters.

Naruto was one of the first anime I ever watched, (I picked up the manga later) however it failed to take a place in my heart. There are many reasons for that.
Story=6
Disappointing. It was going great but the quality dropped steadly after Sasuke vs Danzo arc. The most boring story arc was the fourth shinobi war itself. The final acrs war far too dull. The introduction of Kaguya was never needed, but they just had to force her into the story. I'm surprised that Kishimoto never introduced Kaguya's other son.
Character=7
Many of the charcters were originally interesting, nearly none of them were developed strongly. Only
...
Itachi and Naruto were evolved with effort. Kishimoto tried to make Sasuke similar to Lelouch but his character did not match him, nor was his character devaloped for that type. Kaguya was also a dull addition to the character list.
Art=6
Sometimes the art is amazing, other times I cannot understand what the hell is happening. However the fight between Sasuke and Naruto was beautifully done.
Enjoyment=7
Critically the series is not great but doesn't mean that I did not enjoy it even a little. There were just some moments though. I really did not like the 'bigger is better' type of fight scenes when the characters just kept on creating bigger and bigger jutsus.
Overall=6
nothing more is to be said.

I do not read the manga so I was looking forward to this a hell lot, I'm not a big fan of the black butler series, but it is more then worth watching. In the end I was more then satisfied and my immediate reaction was this, 'MOAR!'
The story follows the manga immediately from where it left off in season 1, after episode 15. This anime can be said to be of 9 episodes rather then 10 as the first is quite similar to season 1 episode 1.It starts of slowly and lightly; there are a lot of funny scenes that are typical of a
...
black butler series (perfect Sebastian's love for cats, the annoying Elizabeth, and Phantomhive's trouble making trio..) but towards the ending the series takes on a dark path. It turns rather bloody and gruesome with a load of revelations.
The character development is different for different people. Some characters are done beautifully while others are just for screen-filling.(That is the right word, right?) When first stringers'' back story were revealed you can not help but feel sorry for all of them.(However I HATED that Lord Kelvin)
The art is beautiful. Season 1's art wasn't impressive, season 2's was slightly better. It was elegant- but it was not suitable for a series as dark as black butler. But the art of Book of Circus (obviously)outmatched them both. It was beautiful and it suited Kuroshitsuji. The sound was awesome. I really loved the opening- easily one of my favorites.
Overall I enjoyed this series a lot and I did not reject anything from this anime. A great anime.

The recent OP episodes have been quite dull: bad animation, annoying sound and excruciatingly boring. I did not have high expectations for this special but still I looked forward to it.
This special explains why I used to have high regards for OP. I was just amazing!
Story:
The story was gripping, and just awesome.It has everything everyone loves about OP: action, comedy a bad-ass villain and a light touch of fan service. Most of the time long-time airing anime when making a movie or special do not give much regards to the story, but that was not the case for 3D2Y. I did
...
not find any plot holes and the ending gave you a feeling of satisfaction. And that is why I gave it a 9.
Art and Sound:
The animation was not outstanding, but it was quite impressive. For the first time for OP, I actually enjoyed the art, so I gave it a 7.
However, the same cannot be said for the sound. Though it was not as repetitive and irritating as the anime, it was as at some place. But it was bearable, so it gets a 6.
Character:
Most of the characters were same as those of the original anime- except the antagonists.World, the villain for the special was cool,extremely strong and somewhat lovable. I felt that what ever obstacles and bad guys Luffy and his friends faced, they were somewhat helping him in his training. I give it an 8.
Enjoyment:
I enjoyed it very much, nothing more can be said, I'm giving it a 9.
Overall:
This special was nearly a masterpiece for me, so it's a big, solid 9.

I dont usually read manga so when a friend recommended uq holder, i was very hesitant to read it. But when I did read it, I regretted not reading this earlier.
The review is based on the first two arcs of the story, untill chapter 30.
STORY-8
Similar to fairy tail, uq holder is an organisation that helps those in need in exchange for money. I like such a plot because it can give a variety of different arcs; darker, sinister ones and light funny ones.However, uq holder also has a lot of unanswered questions such as Totua's parents death. Even though it apparently seems that the
...
died in an accident, it seems highly suspicious to me.
The reason that I have not given the story any higher marks is because after the amazing first chapter, the story gradually became quite boring. But I kept on reading and after Chapter 10, I again gained interest in it.
I am certain that the story will become better over time so.
ART-9
I cannot describe the art very nicely. For me it was very good. None of the characters have same type of faces with different hair (though some character's chins are very similar). The Fight scenes are wonderfully drawn and people can actually understand what is happening during the battle.
Character-8
the manga has many varieties of personalities. Their backgrounds are slowly being uncovered. However since this manga is still young, not much can be said about the characters...only time will tell how those characters evolve.
Enjoyment-8
As i said before through Chapter 5-10 the manga was becoming very boring for me, but I did not leave it because those long dialogues were important for the development story.Anyway it redeemed itself with an enjoyable next arc.
Overall-8
I really want to give it higher marks though.
It was my first review,so I hope I did no screw up a lot!!!
