This basically works as an epilogue along with some random side stuff.

It takes place some time after the ending of the original with Jinwoo trying to live as a human while being a monarch in a world where only he has powers and no one remembers him as the past events ended. There are plot elements that continue the story of what happens next and the are some elements only to serve funny or random story bits that some fans might like.

That basic plot has some good resolutions to some characters but it feels like something is missing. His family is barely mentioned, past ... hunters just have some dialogue or just appear to a panel only to let you know how they are. There are some fights from Jinwoo but sadly it's not enjoyable as he just beats his enemies in a panel or two so there is nothing for the reader to feel joy about, only hype with almost zero reward. I didn't like how the shadows were handled but that's up to anyone's taste.

It sets the ground for a series a sequel series that started this past month if i recall but while I don't know how they handling the new series, in the side story it feels really rushed and bad written. I can't go in details because spoilers so I will leave it at that.

I can recommend it to fans who want a bit of closure but won't satisfy many. Also I didn't know these side stories existed until today and as it's part of the plot, they could have done a better job letting people know that there was more.

Dr. Stone is a very weird experience for your average anime/manga enjoyer as we haven't experienced something like this in the past(not that im aware of)

While it's not in my top list, I have to praise it for what it is and what it did. First things first, I didn't see many anime cliche. This is something that adds to what this manga is.

The characters if not all then most of em are pretty good. You see their development in scattered pieces in the story and it feels good and natural. Sometimes it felt mature considered what the character was doing until the previous ... page. I loved Senku as the only thing he had going was his mind. Gen was the charm of the series. Ryusui was amazing. But what I loved more was the development of the stone age people. People who knew nothing of the old world. People who changed their whole prespective in life after meeting Senku.

The story along with the whole science thing going, to me felt pretty great and smart. It was slow in some parts but that's how it's supposed to be. There weren't many battles but when they were, boy, was I hyped and chilled. The strategic aspect was amazing!!

If you have read this review then you know I didn't say anything that goes too deep and truth is I wasn't going to write something. It's just Dr. Stone was so good and did many almost everything right, that I thought I needed to tell someone about it. It's not for everyone and as someone who read the manga after watching the 2 seasons, what I can say is that the anime is more user friendly. The manga is great but it may bore you while reading all this science stuff. Anime didn't felt like this at all. But give it a try for sure.

I wasn't sure if I wanted to waste time for this particular review. I'm not completely sure if I wanted to review the 2nd season overall BUT after finishing the manga and the 1st season I'm here just to left a note to the Mangaka and write the review at the same time. I will be as formal as I can but I feel betrayed. I was waiting waiting for Golden Pond arc.
I was waiting for something better. Damn I was in for a treat if someone never came up with the idea of the 2nd season to be like this. So, I will ... be straight you Mister.
