Bloody Mary has a good plot and so far its plot seems to be really well planned out so that's a plus.
The pace of the story is fast, which I like. I don't advice reading all chapters in a row because there's a lot of information at each chapter but it's hard to stop reading.
Unlike MAL says on the genre, this manga so far isn't a shounen-ai.
The art is STUNNING. Just look at the cover.
Bloody Mary is such an adorable character, it's impossible to not love him too.
The only complaint I have is in term of character names because three characters are called "Maria" and
...
then there's one "Mary" and one "Bloody Mary" and those names may lead to some confusion.
Yet, it's a great manga nonetheless. If you're interested, you should give it a shot.

Uragiri wa Boku no Namae wo Shitteiru is a funny and actually closer to shoujo rather than shounen-ai manga. Would I recommend to read it? Definitely, I love it. But if you are doing it because you expect Luka and Yuki to kiss, forget it. At least for now.
Uraboku manga covers two arcs so far: the first is the one on the anime (even though the meeting with Reiga, Elegy, Cadenza and Luze was quite different if you compare both versions) and the beginning of the second arc. (If you are confused to why an ongoing manga doesn't have much more 5 years after its
...
anime, view note on the end of the review)
If you are here because you want to pick up after the anime, as I said on the last paragraph: the meeting with the bad guys is different (even in terms of personality traits, which is going to make you confused if you don't read the manga completely). I'd advice reading the manga on its whole to understand what is going on but if you don't want to, I can tell you the second arc starts on chapters 36/37.
I really love Odagiri Hotaru's art (even though there's a little problem with her artstyle: the limitation on character designs. For example: Hotsuma and Sairi look simillar and Yuki and Senshirou [without glasses] look the same). This fact alone may make you confused about who's talking sometimes. But her art is stunning and makes up anything.
The story has a few problems: I'm not sure whether it is a plothole or something Odagiri planned to explain later, however there are some things, mostly about Luka, that are really confusing if you're playing attention while reading the manga. Despite those small details, it is a good story indeed.
I am glad because there is some character development on this manga. In fact, Yuki (the main character) changes everybody around him a little. I believe the character with the less development is, in fact, the character you expected (and he claims) to have the most. (You'll understand who I mean if you read it)
The manga has several funny moments, for example, when dr. Fujihara is told that he needs to treat Luka and he smiles wide, cleans his table in 3 seconds and tells Luka to get his clothes off on the spot (and gladly, that was on the anime as well). The manga has many moments like that.
Sumary: Uraboku is a really good manga and I'd definetly recommend it.
Note: The manga has currently 54 chapters, however the manga isn't published in Japan for over a year (it used to come out near-regularly until 2012, then two chapters came out in 2013 and there were no chapters being released in 2014, nor it is known how many [if any] will be released this year). This is going on because, apparently, the mangaka has been having issues regarding her hands (and on a volume she explains it's something she always had), that's why Uraboku is like this. So if you want to read Uraboku, mind that it stops halfway.

THIS OVA INCLUDES GAY SEX, RAPE, NUDITY AND BLOOD - if want to avoid those, don't watch it. The anime doesn't have these, so you can just watch the anime without watching the OVA.
This OVA shows what would happen to Aoba if things had gone wrong on episode 11 of the anime. It has good quality animation because it came on DVD and there isn't much of a plot to insert here. The voice acting is really good on it and it's a great adaptation of the bad ends. Excluding how short each part was (but I understand why it is like that), I have
...
no complaints.
So, nothing I wrote on the first sentence bothers you - go watch it.

(I'm going to talk about the episodes as starting from 74 [as Zexal has 73] to 113 [episode 40 of Zexal II], the last one that came out now) because that's how I'm used to them, okay?)
Please, watch Zexal before Zexal II. If you haven't watched Zexal yet and you're trying to find out if you need to watch it to understand Zexal II: Yes, you do.
Okay, now for Zexal II:
(1st arc)
Zexal II may seem disappointing on the first few episodes, but starting episode 85, it gets to the most interesting part. Once you get there, you start to understand that Zexal II has a
...
deeper, darker plot than the one it seems to have at first. Of course that, when I say episode 85, I'm talking about four episodes in a row (from 85 to 89) that are amazing and important for the plot. Still, not the episodes before 85 can be considered fillers though. As they are important to know the new characters, mainly Rio (Shark's sister), Rei (the new student on Yuma's class), Gilag, Alit and Misael (3 of the villains). After this, there are filler episodes again and then comes the most overwhelming part that nobody should ever miss (you'll understand what I mean once you see it), which are from episodes 94 to 98. And on episode 94 we find a connection between Zexal and Zexal II, because oops, not everything was told about Zexal yet.
Arc 2:
The arc 2 starts on episode 99 and it is the currently airing arc, it starts by the background of each Barian Emperor known until then:
- Durbe (episodes 99 and 100);
- Vector (episodes 101 and 102);
- Alit (episodes 103 and 104);
- Misael (episodes 105 and 106);
- Gilag (episode 107);
- Nasch and Merag (episodes 108 and 109).
After the background story part, comes the Barian World vs. Astral World fight and Yuma and his friends are caught in between it, now what happens there... Well, you'll know once you watch it.
All I can say is: it really is worth it.
In my personal opinion, it is a series you should give a chance to. Even because all the mysteries left unviled aren't solved yet.
