I am sorry but it was just bad. I feel like it started getting worse and worse since the first season of the series. Personally about the whole series there are more than few things I like. The characters are good, the dynamics between characters, their interaction with each other etc. I find it nice an I really like it. But the more content comes out the more everything that's good as characteristics or unique things to the spy x family gets just shadowed or worse. episode you have this character in a part of the story they are always the same, as if stereotypes of themselves. Only thing happening is the action and in this movie the reason for it was really bad, as if this was an American dream-Hollywood movie, the peace was going to end! The family 解散! disbanded! But you know it's not gonna be. Everything gets built up on this in the movie, I mean the action, and eventually the ending as a result is just cheesy. We have of course moments where the three have good time, Tasogare does the thing no one can do, Yor and Anya too I mean it's fine, they are nice. But there is no character development, Yor and Tasogare are always in this grey area and there is nothing going on with their relationship. We can say that it does not have to be. But when you have this anime, Characters only doing the same things, plot is the same, comedy(not funny anymore at least for me), nothing serious with the development of events, you can see through it all and naturally what the episode, or the movie builds up feels like anything, I don't want to say nothing, these are I think main problems with both the movie and the Spy X Family in general.
I mean the whole fight of Yor with the 'Irronn man' was just... what was it?
It's not like I want to keep record of everything bad in the movie but Yor acts according to her thoughts and feelings about her relationship with the two, Tasogare has the missions which keeps the whole thing going, Anya being Anya is good enough. But in the end They don't get closer, nothing moves forward, everything becomes the part of the reason for the action which for me is not satisfying at all. It's a bit empty and I don't think the show mainly going to the direction of an action anime is good. I really like all that this anime has but I would not want to see the third season opening with "This is Tasogare, his wife, they have secrets and the world war!" and then we have action, and some things that lead to the main things which is also only action and everything gets dissolved after it and then you have the season. Sorry I've gone over the same things a few times. But be it the background of the story being war, or anything just anything that's meaningful! It can have more depth but that just does not happen.
Finally, how events develop, come one after the other was just like the animation, music etc. was undoubtedly good. I don't know why but I guess Gen Hoshino told them not to leave any endings of the show to anybody other than him. Idk btw I didn't look up on it just saying that it's good.
