I just watched this anime cus my friend was talking about it! My attention span is real short so I thought I could deal with 4 mins! Turns out I dealt with all 48 mins!! This is just a real great short anime that I think deserves more love :D

The story jumps around from episode to episode, it's chaotic and I love it! The characters are kinda all lovable in their own ways (do not like pedo trope sorry Ei). It ended so abruptly its kinda sad, I wished there was more to this show. Maybe an extra 4 mins? :( Like even if it ... was 24 mins per ep id have watched it ALL. I wish we got more backstory or at least a pic of Moran's or whatever his name is dad! He looked hot lel. Also the ending songs are real catchy! The tune is STUCK IN MY HEAD!! XD Did I mention how funny the anime is? I think the jokes are funny. Some aren't. But some are. That's like. How every comedy anime is, but it just becomes funnier when you consider they made you laugh in less than 4 minutes! Kinda like how vine worked lol

There's not much to nitpick that I can think of. It's just short sweetness every episode, and it leaves you wanting more! The attention of the show is italian cuisine. They show off italian cuisine, and even remake some of the show dishes at the end of it! It goes to show that they really want people to become more engaged with the fare or at the very least more enlightened. Maybe even broaden their knowledge on the cooking spectrum. And it worked! Cus now I really could go for some italian right now :D

Overall, yeah its not the best written or animated or like... Most awesome short anime made. But for those that have an extra 48 minutes they could spare and are foodie lovers, give this anime a shot! :DDD

Hi I wana make another review ;D It was 2015 something when I went to the video store with my ma and begged her to let me get the dvd :) She let me and I came home and popped it in the dvd player. Let me tell you. I had no idea who the hell Ghibli was, what they made, cause I was an 8 year old!! But I knew straight away that this was one of their movies. I adore a majority of Ghibli movies, regardless of their rep, even though there's some I just cannot get my head around ;w; Marnie is ... a gem really. I don't know why there's so many less watchers on the website for this damn movie. So let's go into a detailed review from what I can remember. (No spoilers)

Story: 7/10
I was like whuuuuuuut at first when I was listening to the story. It didn't make sense, but did I really care? No! It wasn't deep enough to make me stray away from the movie and eat biscuits or something. It was as the movie went on instead of being like 'the hell is going on here?' my kid brain slowly grew accustomed to the uniqueness of the story. You meet some random girl, and she's pretty as hell, by this beach house? COOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Needless to say, if that got you hooked, that's enough to tell you of how good the story is! In the end though, it felt a little lackluster. Maybe cause I build things up in my head and want them so badly to happen, but the gutwrenching feeling of sadness and want at the end was enough to make up for it. Cause you know, angst fixes everything!! But yeah. The lackluster feeling won't leave you afterwards. The story isn't very resolving to me. And THAT'S WHY I DON'T LIKE THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sound: 10/10
I really love how gentle the soundtrack is. It's easy on the ears, fits the story well, and is just... Overall, really nice. The other sound effects and stuff I didn't really care about. Maybe the splashing of feet in the waves by the side of the house, those were nice details and were pretty high quality! I don't know what the sound section is for since I'm new to this website, so you gotta just deal with this mess lol

Character: 6/10
Now. I know. Whether or not you've watched this movie or not you'd be going either "Whaaaaaaaa" or "I knew it!" but who cares. Yeah I don't like the characters that much. But the way they are designed is real nice! They seem pretty real. They act pretty real. Heck, the randomness of a friendship being born by two kids randomly meeting is just pretty normal if you ask me! Imagine, how could've your friendship grown with the random kid you met in the McDonalds playset if you weren't seperated? This is a kinda that scenario! But no. I don't like them very much. I don't even remember why. But yeah.

Enjoyment: 8/10
Yeah you'll enjoy it for sure, it depends on if you're one of those 1000+ animes watched nerds or a person that watches anime just to kill time but... Yeah. You'll enjoy it. If you don't, that's not my problem. It's just enjoyable. You follow this nice lil storyline with this nice ost and beautiful art that will make it so you can't tear your eyes off the screen. And you expect yourself not to enjoy it even if you harbour a lil hatred for the directors not making it end better? XD You will!

This movie has a special place in my heart. My brain works pretty weird so I don't know why but this movie just makes me happy. I rewatched it in like... 2020 I think. I really liked it! For all you nitpickers, this movie is the BEST for you to nitpick. Cause while you nitpick, you'll surprisingly find yourself enjoying this beauty! And for yall like me who just like watching anime... You guys will just like it. Go watch it on netflix or something now!

Idk. I just wanted to review this. Pandora Hearts was the first manga I ever read, and when I heard the news Jun Mochizuki was making another series, little me was going crazy!!!! I was so hype for the Vanitas manga! It was a pleasant read, and I've been there since debut and since Volume 13 released! Of course it wasn't flawless. HELL NO. But enjoyable? Yeah pretty much! The thing is. The anime just sucks. I seriously do not know how people could stomach it past like Episode 5. Where do I even begin? First episode, I was really excited. The animation at times ... was really good! The voice acting is amazing, the attention to detail in the environment is so wonderful! I'd also like to mention the ost and stuff. Like the intro? I streamed that on repeat. LOVED IT!!! Ending song is pretty good too. I really enjoy the orchestra kinda ost they got going on too! But... Nah. NAH. Bones tried their best to capture Jumo's work and the manga really well. For that I applaud them. But they need to stop. Some scenes are just really damn ugly with how much Bones exaggerates the animation. Like yeah, in one scene you'll have a gorgeous side profile, the next you'll have some straight up Bungo Stray Dogs nightmare mouth official art. The awkwardness silence when they're drinking blood and everything is just so... I know it's meant to be erotic. BUT THE EROTICNESS IS JUST PLAIN UNCOMFORTABLE. HOW DO YOU MESS UP THE SEXUAL SCENES!!?!!? Honestly, the anime feels like an insult of an adaption in contrast to the manga. Yeah. This is more like a rant than a review, but I'm just not a fan and never will be. Just read the manga.
