This show started with an outlandish case that seemed interesting, but its conclusion in episode two made me come to the following conclusion after seeing everything the criminal they unmasked did: why didn't he just bury the body?

The more episodes I watched, the more I realized why the protagonist is considered a genius. ALL THE OTHER CHARACTERS ARE STUPID! Not only should the guy in the first case have made the most obvious decision. All the other characters seem incapable of coming to simple conclusions. It's a medical anime, but the doctors can't diagnose their specialty without Ameku's help. There's an episode where a group ... of doctors are surprised when Ameku reveals the side effects of a medicine they had stored in the hospital's medicine cabinet.

In fact, Ameku is the stereotypical weird genius, but the plot makes no effort to make her sympathetic to the viewer. She's abusive to her assistant, trespasses on property, and disrespects fellow doctors in front of everyone. She is the most developed character, but all we know about her is that she is a genius and that she is eccentric. But it is easy to be a genius when everyone else is an idiot. And of course, she has a high position in the hospital because her grandfather owns it. It didn't seem like it was because she is a genius because everyone seems to hate her methods.

The other characters are even more shallow. There is her assistant who only serves to be humiliated by her, to be her babysitter or to get involved in supposedly romantic situations with the protagonist, but which are just embarrassing scenes. There is the nurse who only appears to ship Ameku and her assistant. There is the other doctor who hates Ameku because... well, she is Ameku. There is the detective who only appears to give details of police cases to Ameku on a silver platter. Oh, I forgot to say. They are only doctors as a hobby. This is an anime about detectives cosplaying as medical anime.

That said, I do not recommend it. I only watched this anime because a friend forced me to, but I do not expect anything from the end of this anime. For sure, the final mystery will be because some character did something really stupid and Dr. loli will need to explain to us while we evaluate which anime character deserves the dumbest character trophy.
