The good:

The battles and spectacle are good, bloody/gory battles for an action/revenge story make a good combination, author uses flashbacks to flesh out characters before and after a fight which I've seen work sucessfully on revenge stories specially if its in a reverse tower format.

The bad:
The author has pacing issues wiriting the story, its like the author expects the revenge plot to carry the interest of the audience, sometimes he uses the flashback badly and does an overly long info dump which gets in the way of the fight's pacing, most characters including MC are unidimensional which is good for a short action ... series but not good if the author aims for a long series.

Honestly its bad and i think author tried to do an edgy start to captivate the audience but didnt know how to go from there, I'm on chapter 23 and dont recommend it, i reccomend to at least wait for it to reach 100 chapters that way either the editor managed to help the author or you can at least binge read the chapters which would help a bit with the pacing issues.

Well I wouldnt reccomend anyone starting with this series

1- The yuri was basically bait with only appearing at the start and implied at the end, ive read better straight or same sex romances and i am saying this because it is seriously outrageous how they baited people and didnt develop the romance meaningfully its like the end of avatar 2 all over again and I got no horse on this race since i came here to watch the robots fight not the romance, that said.

2-The fights were quite unremarkable on this season, flashy but lacking substance and tension the best one was the terrorist attack ... at the academia and the false flag by prospera which werent much fights but mostly sabotage.

3-The geopolitic conflict sucked, it was done better (and i cant believe im saying this) on gundam seed or gundam age, they also did the "arms race conflict" and" war is hell" tropes quite better and the resolution of many of these conflicts was full of corny cliches, i liked the false flag operation with prospera but the "get a third faction and the end with the BFG to gain a common enemy" totally sucked, the animation was beautiful but the plot and characterization was seriously lacking.

I think most of the fault lies on that this series tries to appeal to the common denominator and ends with a mediocre mess.

TLDR: Drawings are cute which is fine for a romcom, premise is ok, execution is so so, I suggest to try the first 10 chapters to see if its to your liking.

Longer version: it starts a bit slow and part of the drama Is seeing how Female Lead overcomes her shyness and the scars of her past relationship with Male lead, its a romance after all.

The good: art is okay, cutesy which is fine for a rom-com drama, expect ochiai's sillyness followed by either cute /sad reactions when her plans fall flat or succeed slowly inching to express her feelings while trying to ... catch ML's heart, the drama part is her second guessing or being plain insecure and having to be reassured sometimes by her friends or ML due to her past experiences.

The bad: There is gratuituous fanservice, just look at her massive gag jugs, author sometimes goes too hard with the divorced koolaid drama and the manga starts feeling like a cope but not enough to drop it entirely.

The way Shoujo/josei romances are written for a female audience is different from what men look for in a romance manga and trying to appeal to both is hard work, this manga is definitively made for women even with the male fanservice, I would reccomend reading at least the first 10 for you to decide yourself. I give it 6/10, not bad.

if you're new to gundam and like the prologue and the synopsis plus slice of life elements give it a try.
if you're here for the war and battles promised on the prologue they start on episode 11 and maybe next cour.

The series is made to attract new blood so they added a bunch of tropes that are "IN" like slice of life with a bunch of girls and cutesly looking characters on top of the politicking and plotting behind the scenes that is present on gundam series, this mismatch is why the first episodes may feel like a bait and switch if you saw ... the prologue, the tonal shift will feel jarring if you expected bloody battles, characters will feel out of place, suletta wins most of the fights with her gundam being a bigger stick basically there is no tension on these duels since nobody is dying and suletta almost always has the upper hand, the series shifts back to form on episode 11 and hopefully next cour on april.
