Sadly to say, I was really disappointed with this movie. Not only did I pay money to watch it in theaters, but a lot of components of this animation was just confusing or ended with no point.
I'm just going to warn the reader now that this will be a down right not good not nice review. Not because I completely hated the movie but I just wish for a lot of things before watching this movie to have them practically shattered by the end of this film.
There was little character development and I was still feeling like the characters were strangers with no
...
purpose by the end. The story was just confusing with its repeated time travel, no clear reason for its purpose or the character's actions. The only good thing was the voice acting cast which I loved since it included lovely people such as Miyano Mamoru, Kaji Yuki and my precious Sakurai Takahiro (where one of his character's line was talking about a women's chest =.=). Also, the art was really pretty but it's like watching pretty pictures with a really bad story line (pretty much sums up the movie tbh).
In the end, it's up to you if you want to watch it. For me, I probably don't want to ever watch it again with major regret paying to watch it and receiving such a sad everything.

OVERALL: 8
Shinohara Erika is an up coming first year at her new high school and wants to be able to "fit in" or make new friends. In order to accomplish this, she creates lies and the main one being about her having a boyfriend. When her new friends ask her what her new boyfriend looks like, she panics since the past two months she has been using her friend Sanda Ayumi as her "boyfriend," She then decides to take a picture of any guy she finds after school and shows it to her friends. It turns out the guy she took a photo of
...
is the "prince" of the school, Seta Kyouya! In order to get him to become her pretend boyfriend, Erika must obey him and become Kyouya's dog.
***No Spoilers (hopefully)***
Story: 7
I would say the story is a lot like many shoujo manga with a tsundere, but popular guy and a naive girl who wants to fit into school. I throughly enjoyed the plot line of the show with Erika's attempts of trying to fit in by lying. This ends up with her pretending to be in a relationship with a popular guy at school. The twist is that Kyouya isn't like most main character guys, his kindness at school is just facade while Erika knows his true self as a "sadist." Overall, the show is more comedic and cheesy as well as there being some sweet moments such as Kyouya showing his feelings and Erika's attempts at having a "normal" relationship. Seeing as the story progresses, their relationship blooms as well and becomes really cute in my opinion.
Art: 8
The art is throughly well done I would say, it is a different style from the manga, but I like it. Kyouya is definitely good looking with his tall figure and nice face, while Erika has "the typical normal girl" type look. Most of the characters don't look too flashy (maybe Kamiya... and Erika's new friends) and the backgrounds look pretty mundane since they do live in Tokyo. The art appealed to me a lot with the character designs, the wolf ears that pop up when Erika lies, the chibis, and especially the funny expressions like Kyouya's sadist look that gets me laughing every time.
Sound: 8
The music I think was to my taste, the opening was pretty catching and I did like the ending a lot. The funny thing was a lot of people keep wanting to listen to the ending because of the beep. Also, the background music for most of the anime was like usual shoujo which I liked and enjoyed since most of the time it matched the scenes and made some really funny. (Especially in episode 9 XD). The voices were amazing I would say, especially Kyouya (because his VA is Sakurai-sensei <3) with his soothing voice that matched his handsome looks (I've already fallen for Kyouya noo T.T). Also, I liked Takeru (his VA is Hosya Yoshimasa aka Sousukeee) with his loud voice that matched his loud personality XD.
Character: 8
I loved all the characters and their personalities! Erika is a very kindhearted girl that really has no bad intentions with her lying, she tries her best to fit in, appease Kyouya and is funny when she ask Kyouya for things. Kyouya is very tsudere I would say, he doesn't express his feelings much, slightly sadist when it comes to Erika and a bit of a tease I would say. He has a reason for being like this, but I feel like that just is his personality too. I love his sadist self and his occasional sweetness towards Erika and how he acts around Kamiya and Takeru is hilarious. You get to know the characters more and more through each episode and for those who enjoy the show would come to understand each one (except like maybe, probably Erika's new friends-). My favorites have got to go to Kyouya, Takeru and Kusakabe who are played by VAs that I love a lot too.
Enjoyment: 9
I enjoyed this shoujo anime a lot since nowadays I rarely do with all the shounen with some having dark themes, fighting, and more that I do still enjoy. It was very refreshing watching something so cheesy and sweet with more ikemen characters. Kyouya is very appealing with his actual personality that I enjoyed (does that make me an M? lol). Overally, it's a good anime to watch if you can get past the cliche characters and story, but are looking to watch a very funny and sweet anime.
I hope this review helps others! I just loved this anime a lot and have fallen for yet another ikemen guy as well as watching another role that Sakurai-sensei is in. Ookami Shoujo to Kuro Ouji is now one of my favorite shoujo animes out there now. <3

The story takes place in modern times where a struggling mangaka named Fujinuma Satoru experiences reccuring scenes in his life when something wrong is taking place. Satoru must find the flaw during that short, repeating loop before time moves forward. After a certain event happens, his next revival lands him back to 1988 where he relives as his 10-year-old self. Satoru is certain to solve the mysteries behind the serial killer case that occured 18 years ago in 1988 to save not only his future, but everyone else's as well.
****May contain slight spoilers****
Story: 10
I absolutely loved the concept and plot of the story. The
...
plot never goes complex to where the reader has to over think anything, but teaches people the importance of involving yourself in other people's lives and working together. From Satoru's revivals (both of them where he returns back to 1988), I've learned how significant his friends are in helping him prevent these murders from happening. For example, Kenya knew most of what Satoru was thinking, could read him well and was willing to help Satoru in saving Hinazuki, Aya, and Hiromi. Their friendship is what I treasured most while watching this series as well as how Satoru involves himself in Hinazuki's life as well. It's not only the friendships that he forms with these people that are the highlights of this anime, but his relationship with his mom impacted me a lot as well. Also to continuing on the topic of the story, it was well written like the manga and never disappointed me even though there were changes to the anime that were not in the manga. I feel like that is totally normal and the ending was still very satisfying to me with how Sataru ended this case once and for all (after he woke up from his coma and during his second revivial to 1988) not by himself but with his group of friends together this time unlike during his first revival in 1988 where he decided to work alone.
Art: 9
Overall, I felt the art was fantastic and the designs of the characters were simply beautiful. There were some scenes that weren't really well done but that happens and I understand. I loved how the time period that was picked had always snowed and the scene that I still remember is when Kayo and Satoru go up on the hill to see the "Christmas Tree", the stars in the background and the icicles on the tree were utterly gorgeous. Also, I liked how they drew all the characters, Satoru when he is his 29-year-old self is pretty normal looking, but he looks so handsome to me, especially his eyes which are blue! The scene that struck out to me is when he is by the river in episode one with the ripped manga pages flowing in the wind, his expression really showed me how handsome he is. Finally, I loved the character designs of when the characters are kids such as Kayo who indeed was really pretty (Oh Satoru >.<), Hiromi was just too adorable for my heart and Kenya was indeed a pretty boy and still is when he got older.
Sound: 8
I was so into the story of the show that the soundtrack wasn't my biggest priority while watching this, so my review on this section may not be accurate. I did love and still do love the opening and ending of this anime. Especially the opening which is "Re:Re:" by Asian Kung-Fu and I felt like this song really did sum up for the feelings and flow of the anime.
Character: 10
Indeed I have to give this one a ten since all the character's personalities and appearances are very appealing to me. I don't want to give to much because spoilers but I really do relate to Satoru the most especially at the beginning of the anime. I will admit that I cried a lot while watching this series mostly at the beginning and ending episodes. The main reason I cried was simply seeing Satoru's mom and how she cares so much for her son, does so much for him, can read him really well and just loves him so much. I can tell she treasures him a lot since his father had left them when Satoru was born and instead of turning towards negative measures towards her child (like Kayo's mother), she decided to give her child all her love. Just thinking about her makes me cry as well as seeing Satoru struggling sometimes while trying to tell her things or conveying how much he cares about her. Also, Satoru's friends have very appealing personalities like Kenya being the intellectual one out of the group, he wanted to be a hero like Satoru too and Kenya became a lawyer not only to solve the case and find the killer, but also due to the situation with his father in the past who is a lawyer was well. I can't list everyone but I'll talk a bit about Kayo at least, she struggles at first at interacting with Satoru since she has been alone most of her life, but opens up to Satoru due to how he speaks what's in his mind and also responds to him with "Are you an idiot?". Finally, just a small hint but the killer indeed deceived me until the big reveal (I pretended since I've already read the manga, but it is still unexpected).
Enjoyment: 10
Nothing much to say here, but I'll say that I loved this anime so much and is one of my favorites because of it's art, characters, story and everything. I think it is one of the ones that I will probably always rewatch, recommend and remember since it is dear to my heart. Also, I don't think I've cried this much while watching a show, so Erased you broke the record for my tears. I wasted a whole tissue box too. T.T
Overall: 10
Also a ten and will be a ten for me. The title of the anime/manga comes into play as The Town without Me....

I finished this anime a while ago when the final episode aired. It took me awhile to have the courage and write a review to one of the animes that I love the most!
Overall Yuri!!! on Ice took took me by surprise due to the relationship development as well as character development. The show introduced a underconfident ice skate who is indeed one of the top figure skaters in Japan and who admires one of the top figure skaters in the world (Viktor Nikiforov!). As the story progresses, Yuuri learns to be confident in himself as well as his skill while Viktor supports and
...
believes in him all the way.
I totally started shipping Viktor and Yuuri since episode 3 probably and thought this show was like most sports anime where the creators tease the fans with fangirling moments of the two. I think by episode 5 or 6, I started thinking wait, they might actually be dating each other and I was totally convinced by episode 7 for sure!
At the end of the show, I decided that this is one of my all time favorites since it helped me realize that believing in yourself and relying on others helps you see your true potential and you then can strive for your best while using your skills to your own advantage. Also, developing close relationships with other people is important in not only team sports, but in individual ones such as figure skating singles as well.
Overall I rated this show a 10, it may be a very biased 10, but I believe this show deserved it since it took a lot of effort to even create a show like this as well as presenting a relationship as beautiful as Viktor's and Yuuri's.
Art- 9
The art of the backgrounds and characters were super amazingly drawn. The only reason why I gave it a 9 is because for anime, there is always room for improvement and everything cannot be perfect such as the animation for the skating routines, but I do understand it is difficult to create movement through art. I think most of the frames through each episode looked beautiful and I always found myself taking screenshots all the time haha.
Sound- 10
The music and sound overall was beautiful!!! I loved the music for each skating routine as well as the opening and ending songs. I found myself everyday and even now listening to these tracks all day and all night. I loved the instrumentals, especially the piano such as the one in Yuuri on Ice.
Character- 10
The characters in this show are very unique and interesting as well as everyone having their own kind of special personality. No skater in the show had very similar personalities and everyone was different in a good way which got the watchers interested in every new character. I absolutely loved the character development as well as the show being from Yuuri's point of view most of the time. Also, every skater's thoughts were reflected and heard through their skating too which I liked so viewers could connect more easily with all the characters.
Enjoyment- 10
I totally enjoyed every single second of this show two or three times since I always find myself rewatching each episode and noticing new things every time! Every week while the show was airing, I couldn't wait for my Yuuri!!! on Ice Wednesdays! I always went on tumblr straight after and started reblogging all kinds of post on Yuuri!!! on Ice.
I do recommend it to people who love heartwarming sports anime such as this one and being someone who is not very open to showing their thoughts to others, this show helped me be a little more realiant on others as well as having confidence in myself!
