Let me give you some touch of reality, sugar+spice+everything nice = powerpuff girls, is only fiction not reality. When you mix Music+ Shounen+ Sports?= Diarrhea, that's the reality.

Kono oto tomare is nice anime but the tags of the genre and concept, is really flawed. I guess i have to be blame the original mangaka and the producer for this, for them being out of touch with how the world works. You see, it's hard to feel something if you don't get involved with field and mangakas who does research with google to get ideas and watch his ... or her predecessors, get only the outline not the actual themes. And with no experience and just the shallow ideas plus wild imagination= Diarrhea.

Get these points, as a jack of all trades, I'm saying this,
Music is not like this.
Sports is not like this.
I can't blame them cause the fundamental concept of these two fields are weak in Japan itself, considering their worldwide results in contrast to their economy. Anyways, that's the reality now back to fiction.

This is a nice anime and i quite enjoyed it.

The story is really good from outside. But, if i nitpick, i get some terrible flaws.

This is a shounen anime, yes there is blood and sweat, and the so called nakama bullshit and also team work, so it justify shounen tag! So, why are we conducting the story in shoujo genre? Almost everything about this anime has typical punchlines of shoujo stories. The reason is the managaka is SAKURA Amyuu, a freaking girl, doing a shounen theme. You can't be boy and girl at the same time so mixing shounen and shoujo in the same anime is seriously flawed.

Like i said, Japan has a flawed concept about music and sports. If you're a baseball player for example, there will be time when you have to hit home runs to win and you won't have liability to get on base, sacrifice bunt, sacrifice fly then get the run. You just have to hit the damn home run. But, typical Japanese fan service thinks that doing all those shits is better than individual ability. They think there is bunt specialist who only bunts. No one is that trivial in real life and sports aren't that simple. Both in sports and music you have to up your individual ability then do your parts and things will automatically connect. You don't need to connect with nakama bullshit, or your fighting spirit. Just fighting spirit wont give the home run , you will need skills and power. That's why you need to limit your shounen delusions first. 10 loser homies=losers, no matter how much fighting spirit you got. The thing about skills is also true for music. But, the environment of music is composed of drugs, girls, depression and all dark sides, and this is true in every corner of the world and somehow music is combined with sports here. It's like simpson became super saiyan. This misconception is hilarious.

Another flawed concept of mixing music sports is, the competition. There is qualifier then national in koto, i highly doubt that is possible. This is not koushien or super bowl. Just because you force shounen and sports with music, you don't have to deform reality too. Then there is the number of occasion where you do live performance, why only 3? Qualifier, nation and school festivals! You can't do gigs? live stream? house shows? cultural shows? Like i said forced delusional concept of the mangaka.

Art was bishounen style with shoujo romance and blushing, and it was fair i guess,

Sound, here it comes another flaw. Most of the performances aren't that good but they still make it awesomeISH. We have ears bro! We judge music too. And one string note doesn't cause flood or lighting as they want us to see. At least go close to that. I enjoyed the last tokise performance as it was truly sakuraISH. Other than that, it was weak considering it was music based.

Characters were really good, every valuable characters also the 3 stooges were distinct. Main characters had character developments as well as back stories.

I pretty much enjoyed the anime, despite the flawed author with misconceptions cause the arrangements were well organized. The plot is touching and i want to see where it goes. That is the most important thing. I recommend watching this.

This isn't even the real 'the daily life of the immortal king'. What can i say? When you want to make 'Justice League' out of 'Courage the Cowardly dog' then you will get abomination like this. Dude i read the novel and it was nothing like this. Yes, you don't need to follow the original but you still can't change your root completely and this was just that.

Let's list the cons

*There is no romance in the novel, or should i say not so early. Even if there is romance, it will be brushed away in a comedic undertone. That's how it should be. Man, ... do they even know what slice of life means? They made 'star wars' in 'simpson'.

* The original Wang Ling cares only about keeping his powers check and his noddles. And the story revolves how the adversary keeps poking mc, only to get squashed and that results in more pain in the neck for mc, all in a comedic undertone. And they made this 'romeo and juliet' somehow.

*This story somewhat follows upto the six assassins part after that all made up. Even those parts are poorly done. They rushed through the main punchlines like the frog summon or frog test, the novel was hilarious there. Also the limited sword part, they changed the original to mama Wang buying a cheap one. The real one was way more funny, go check no spoilers.

* Character? Like i said, Wang ling only likes his noddles and he doesn't care about nakama bullshit. And they made this shounen which is a disgrace. Lotus sun or the heroine is kind in rivalry with mc, but they made her a direct romance target from the start.

*Lot more can be said about how they changed the theme altogether. Even if i ignore the novel, the work is not done well that much either. For example, what is 59 or 60 high school? How this happened? Assuming that's the plot, and 59 and 60 being rivals how did 59 get 60's data instantly as if they are the main organization overseeing the data. And what about sword spirit? Why did they introduce it when they weren't used that much at all. Only the class president's were used. I can nitpick more but that's the gist without mention the novel.

Art is good like all Chinese animations. They had budget unlike most poor cheap ass Japanese productions. But the industry is shallow because of their inexperience and greed. Do you think people will jump into an unknown anime if they didn't hear about the novel first? Most of us wanted to experience the adaption of novel and I'm pretty disappointed

Did you know, i had to try 3 times to finish this anime. First 2 times, i dropped it cause it was too dark. But after half graduating from anime i became determined to finish this and i finally did.

This anime is a masterpiece and i knew that from the start cause of the ratings.

Firstly, the characters, the mc Elric brothers are perfect characters. Their traits, reactions, actions, emotions everything is enjoyable. Other characters have all unique traits and with enough depth except the main villain the father. He seemed somewhat under delivered. No! It's not cause of him severing his 7 emotions, he is ... still plain boring but his 7 emotions are good though, just the combined person is meh.

The plot is about the villain, wanting to become god by serving all his emotions and his slave who was somewhat villain's creation wanting to stop him. Alchemy, equivalent exchange, Philosophers stone and you can already imagine the rest. Then comes the MC Elrick brothers who really seen hell on earth because of their immaturity and had to learn everything the hard way. Amidst long term planning, between two sides, the mc has their adventure to search for their beliefs. Various variable comes to play in between.

The art is old even though it's a remake. But, still no complains there cause it matches the anime setting. Sound is good throughout the anime except poor opening and ending themes, which i hardly care about.

I watched 1500-2000 series in this oriental fiction industry so it's not easy to move me but watching Early Elric hell and that chimera girl left a bad taste in my mouth. Making a a 25 year old veteran have change of feeling means the anime is successful. The comedy was enjoyable throughout the journey. The early part was 10/10 the finishing became somewhat mild because of veteran experience. I had to skip and drag a lot which i really didn't want to but had to. The story overall was perfect. All dots are connected. Only flaw was Edward's last action of sacrificing his knowledge for his arm. It felt like Deus ex machina, they could've done it differently. I enjoyed it even though this experience would've multiplied if i watched it when i started my anime journey. Well, it can't be helped cause the anime is too dark at the start even though it becomes normal as the story progresses.

I give it a solid 9 overall and i recommend this to everyone of course

You know, when someone becomes a veteran, his thinking always becomes biased with his experience no matter how much impartial he wants to stay. Having watched and read 1500-2000 series in this industry, mine is also the same.

Denpa kyoushi=Otaku teacher, as the named suggest the mc is an otaku. Well, fine by me. No matter how much they push, the ota culture it's going down cause it's repetitive and boring and i see no future of this ota brand. When came the term 'teacher' comes the masterpiece 'Great Teacher Onizuka' automatically. Asking me why i compare this to that? Like i said, veteran. As usual, ... the theme should be dealing with problem students and make them enjoy school. This anime is the same except it's not even close to being a rip off of GTO.

The mc is an Ota and is supposed to be a genius who wrote a theory which beat CERN, the biggest particle physics organization. Okay, fine by me. So, he became a physics teacher. He is somehow a computer specialist such as hacker, software developer and gamer. LOL, remember just fiction. And not to mention he has no interest in physics or computer cause he is 'YD' meaning yearning to do whatever he wants. Give me a break. Never judge an anime character about how he crossed over so many brands and this ain't even wuxia novel. Well, that's our mc.

Other notable character is his sister, who is the only reason a lazy bum ota is working. Even her voice actress is bad. Terrible matching for her character. Other characters are all distinguishable but that's that not enjoyable at all.

Plot, as usual having problem students and solving their problems to make them come to school and interact with the circle but except the first epsode other felt forced. No emotion involved at all, forced humor that didn't make me laugh not even once. The anime team used various cards to make this unique but all felt flat because it's hollow, no depth whatsoever.

Art is pretty modern and okay i guess. And sound? Nothing eye cathing and worth mentioning.

The anime was so bad that i had to drag some of the episodes and at the end i had to delete all. The characters were all with unique trait but with shallow story. Unlike GTO characters, they are easily convinced to join the happy go lucky team. Not the mc but more like the anime team is YD, doing whatever they want and failed miserably. I read the manga for 50-100 chapters and i remember i kind of enjoyed the comedy then than this anime.

So, my final opinion is , even the rewatch of GTO is 10 times more enjoyable than this anime. I don't recommend this to anyone who has experience. Newcomes can try but still believe this is a waste of time

I stopped watching anime seriously since 2 years ago, that's probably the only reason this anime got 5 from me, a fair, impartial one, otherwise not even worth my remarks. Why stopped watching anime? Simple cause animes are childish and most of the time nothing but retarded japanese ideas which are well what can i say!! Retarded. This shitty shows boils blood for a certain 8th grade syndrome group and after that meh! Well, exceptions are obviously excluded.

My review is based on the my experience of anime, manga and light novel, all of them.
The light novel deserves an 8, balanced and worth reading. The manga ... is a joke, don't bother and the anime?

Well, this is one of the prime examples of how to to screw up a light novel adaption. A top 10 one i guess.

From the novel the story is a good one but does the anime tell any story? In this 13 episode hardly anything clear. Too many half assed explanations nothing complete.

Art? Poor budget anime with 6-7th grader animetions. The motions are slow, the monsters are kindergarden arts and when the mc talks badass words, it feels like somehow his zipper is open. That's the feeling. Childish. The stand up comedies misses timing and seems like monotonous because of that. Example of bad directing and editing.

Sound? Hardly any background music. I don't give shit to amateur opening and endings sang by voice actresses.

Character? Except hajime, others are just like novel. Or maybe my image of of them in the novel overshadowed them here so no impressions.

Enjoyment? I guess some episodes are worth it. The first 2-3 episodes were decent and the first reunion episode with the teacher was really good cause i haven't read the novel then. But after that episode everything went to dust. They made up things on their own, not following the novel. Rushed it. Rushing really sucks man.

Well, what can i say! Expected it to suck and glad i look down on these greedy low budget japanese anime studios that makes up garbage and maintains lets wait and see status. This is the sole reason anime industry is declining. Greed vs reality. But, i recommend people to read the novel cause it's decent. And my decent means above 7

each one is really well done!

enjoyment:10/10:i really like comedy so it was really worth it!

Again first of all,this movie is about a girl called eclair.what was interesting was her dress setting!a poor class indian dress which really looked good!a ... lonely girl who stays away from everyone at first then becomes friend with our heroes because they are persistent then dies in the end and the main character cries!A common,simple,obvious plot!No complains here!nothing interesting!

Next,an anime can be hit or flop depending on the sound!opening lame!!!!

First of all i would like to say i am not that fond of action animes,i am more like the peaceful type.So when i first saw this i wasn't that interested but it took only the first movie to change my mind.
I am writing this review based on the whole series.
Story(10): i don't like to give 10 to any anime because that would be too disrespectful to the masterpieces.I had no choice cause the plot is not that much but unique nonetheless.On the light this is a story about two sides fighting for their own ideals.In one sides the attractors who has awakened supernatural powers ... and unable to control their powers that much and causing harm to the others around them fighting for their survival and wanting to live.On the other hand we have cyborg teams who are victims of the attractors directly or indirectly,sacrificed their emotions and body parts only to protect order and stop the attractors.
Thats what on the surface but in the dark every single of them has a dark side that haunts them.A past trauma,sin that makes them suffer every moment.Hated by everyone in the childhood,being called a monster,unable to become mentally stable going berserk causing harm to everyone they care for.bound by the chain of suffering they fight to survive.

The story centers around Quon a esp that lived for a thousand years,every moment of suffering and atoning sin for his untenability to protect his brother and becoming mentally stressed and going berserk and killing a lot of people.Now he lives in order to save the hunted before they become the hunter.he endures a large amount of pain in order to save the young ones from taking the same path he did.With his friends that he saved he goes against the cyborgs.
A twist after twist,sufferings,pains and cries of quon will surely make you in tears.
I won't call this a masterpiece but this one is great.touching is what i mean.I highly recommend this anime to everyone.

Nogizaka haruka no Himitsu is light novel adaption written by Yasaku Igarashi .

Plot(6):pretty simple.no complicated twists or anything.Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu is set at the private high school Hakujō Academy in Japan and centers around the male protagonist Yūto Ayase and his classmate Haruka Nogizaka.By a chance yuto discovers haruka's secret of her being otaku and by his good nature is promises to get along.Amazed ... by his kindness haruka falls in love with him.then together move on to keep on against haruka's family,class and friends to protect haruka's secret and protect her.
Character(9):in this anime everyone has different characters.
Yuto Is a simple high school boy with average grades and looks but kind,caring and a perfect big brother character who always finds himself in rather complicated situation.
Haruka in the meanwhile is a perfect character with good grades,good pianist on the surface but inside an airhead,clumsy,otaku,,weirdo with a horrible sense in art and has no clue when it comes to love.
Shina is a classmate of their who is a panty girl that also comes to love yuto but can't express her feelings due to various twists.But she finally confesses to yuto in front of haruka in the finale series.
Mika is the sister of haruka who has a brotherly crush on yuto and stalks yuto and haruka everywhere with their three weirdo maids to tease them.
Except them we have few minor characters.
Sound and art (8.5)"just your day by day art and sound.
This is a Finale first episode based review,it carries on from where the second one left off and becomes your regular show but gets little exciting when Shina confesses.
As i said i don't expect anything from this anime that's why i can enjoy this show.SO i won't say this a great one just your slice of life perverted comedy romance which can make you laugh.

A calm,warm, a relaxing feeling! no complicated plots,no annoying elaboration,just a little bit of happiness and romance! regretfully its just a two episode ova series! but its the more reason for this feeling!
I think this a typical anime of our daily life that reminds us of something,something very important! It reminds us of the bond between the loving ones. No matter how many obstacle you face,no matter how much you struggle,together with love can overcome anything!!!! yeah right! who am i lecturing! don't mind me, its just i am into this kind anime. Nevertheless this is a good short ova anime series may calm you ... a little bit after the stress in your daily life. This is what i can assure you.

the story is nothing complicated, just a simple long distance relationship!
Eba yuzuki is a young girl comes to a countryside because of her fathers hometown or because of the promise her with a boy in her babyhood and stays at her baby friend haurto's house.On the other hand kirishima haruto at first he thinks of her as a annoyance who might get in the way of his first crush of kanzaki nanami. But who am i kidding, eventually he realizes eba's charm and both of them falls in love.I guess we all grow up eventually.But for various reasons Eba has to go back to Tokyo where she doesn't want return.They struggle with their long distance relationship which is difficult. During Haruto's school trip to Tokyo they promised to meet but things don't go as planned always i guess.Nanami meanwhile also liked Haruto but never showed a sign.Now she regrets and still tries to get along with haurto despite his relationship.She makes up an excuse and tries to spend her school trip with haurto and miraculously and obviously eba spots them holding hand and misunderstands them. And after that how it always goes nanami regrets her doing and helps him to met eba and they manages to clear the misunderstanding and they lived happily ever after.This is a sum of the story.
This a simple but good anime that teaches me a good lesson of holding onto your friend and loving ones not matter how it costs. so i think you should watch it, its good!
