As some one who haven't watch romance anime before due the over realistic things they show about a realtionship and the characters response the the scenario, which doesn't feel relatable. this show does a great job in it. you can actually relate to characters very much and there response to the situation they are in.(except of one scene in episode 9).even if after reading this you don't feel it's good show just give it a try.
This anime is totally underrated. it really deserve more attention.
the story is simple but intresting enough to hook on to it, you never feel boring through out the story.Even

though The MCs feels to be left behind sometimes the side characters are interesting enough to make up for it.
they even handled the personality of each character very well and by the end of the story you might be more intrested int the side character te the main duo. the voice acting for KAORU feels so amazingly done that you can feel each and every emotion the character's lines. even the in the show got its own moments that you will be waiting for it to come on the screen.
The story handles the plot of what it really means to love some one and the sacrifice the one make for the for there sake even thought it wont't be favorable to you.
It also got some hard hitting philosophical lines through out the story.
