I think everyone here knows that the star of this season is vivy.
This recap episode did a great job at hitting all the right notes in this captivating story. Vivy is a show that had many highs and each episode felt very different from the last.
I am not usually one for watching recap episodes, but I think this did a great job reminding us of the journey this amazing show has taken us on.
Honestly, Studio Wit made the right decision creating this show instead of AOT s4 and I hope they continue making similar decisions.

Basically story goes like this - generic ninja chases generic ninja while the world turns less sparkly.
There are also glowing lanterns for some reason, and the first ninja collects them for some reason. Then the first ninja turns into a giant lantern and the second one burns. Now like the other guy said, the sound is pretty great. However, the animation was just fine. I would say something that belonged around 5 years ago. The visual backdrops were stunning, but the animation felt somewhat choppy for something that's supposed to show off animation skills. I think Toei should stick to their strengths. Overall, you can just watch ...

Yo this is really pretty. Like really pretty. Like so pretty it deserves an award.
It looks far better than pretty much everything which is probably why everyone went bonkers over it. Even though I couldn't understand what was being said (do to being a monolingual failure) it was stunning both visually and audibly. Honestly just excited to explore more of this guy's work. They better have gotten an A+ or the equivalent of it ongong. I was shocked to find out this was done by someone so young. The dedication and talent are both extremely apparent in this and it was obvious that this is someone ...

Yea, we all watched this for Kevin Penkin's OST.
And being completely honest, that was the only good part about this anime. The story line in this anime was pretty horrible and there were so many random events that just happened and didn't feel genuine. I was hoping to find a hidden gem but I only found dirt. Moreover, the animation is horrible and everything feels rushed. Needless to say, I was dissapointed. The 3 points are awarded to the amazing OST. I would recommend all potential watchers to just listen to the OST on spotify instead of watching this show. Thanks!

Jesus Christ what am I supposed to say?
This anime is pretty problematic, for multiple reasons (obviously the age gap). But also the male MC's stalkerish nature and his inability to take "no" for an answer. The first episode is quite literally titled "he's not entirely bad" And just the fact that they're going to get together is quite... disturbing Furthermore, there are people within the show who are encouraging this behavior, including the sister (and possibly the mother). Besides what's obviously appalling in its nature, everything else is mediocre to bad. The animation is fine.... but the storytelling is quite laughably bad in some scenes. It's very all over ... |
