Akagami no Shirayuki-hime is similar to Maryoku wa Bannou desu since both protagonists are female and are working as herbalists and proficient in ancient medicines. Both were sent to a historical/royalty setting. Both female characters have love interests who were quite smitten to them and were surrounded by good natured supporting characters.

Renya and Balud are both young in appearance but both have souls of old men in them. Both protagonists are overpowered and second to none when it comes to sword fight. If you are into other world theme + military feels, both are recommended as good reads.

Both have dependable 'girls' that follow them. Both are good reads if you are into other world + warrior feels.

Both have reverse-harem elements and lots of bishounen.

They were also 'partied' with and met strong characters that they will have big influence with throughout the course of the story.

Both are good adventure animes, though Pretear is more of shoujo and has obvious romance element.

In addition, both male lead are somewhat 'perverted'. If you are looking for a not-so-complicated, 'lovey-dovey', cute plot both are nice to read. However, Chou yo Hana yo is of mature genre while Shinobi Quartet is shoujo.

Yanagi and Shiraishi are quite similar with each other. Both are popular, rich, and highly intelligent. Enter the heroines Kujou and Kurusowa who are 'cool' as well - intelligent and seems to be unfazed with the existence of the male lead characters. Both female leads are somewhat a challenge to our male leads and both male leads find the heroines their 'rival' but both fell in love to their female leads as well. If you like shoujo and cute romance story, both stories are highly recommended.

Both male main characters are somewhat arrogant and bossy and tend to 'bully' their female partners. Both has a 'cute' feel on it.
