i have high hopes for this manga since it offers a different take on school romance. it's funny, the characters have interesting personalities. the lead guy is a bit dense(old news to me since it's shounen and all) but is highly perceptive of other people's intentions. and if you think that he's wimpy like most shounen guys surrounded by girls - surprisingly, he's good at fighting (nope, he's not an ex-delinquent). plus, he's a photographer. it's an unexpected twist!

this is surprisingly good. the story is definitely a first for me since the lead guy originally liked girls but got a phobia of them after a near death experience with the female lead (then fat) who got dangerously emotional after getting rejected. ok, so a guy with multiple girls chasing him isn't anything new and the fact that he isn't fond of them either for a shounen manga. imagine everyday as hell for him since he's unintentionally part of the boxing all-girls club. it's funny everytime he avoids the girls and ends up in compromising situations and makes him misunderstood by them.

as expected of morinaga ai, another hilarious manga worth reading.
it's refreshing to see a shoujo heroine who's not weak and stupid. the story does remind of ouran since there the harem consists of the twins, a tamaki, and kyouya. and it's a club! just like host club. good thing i gave this a chance to read and i was not disappointed. the storyline is good but i seriously raised an eyebrow since they're a hockey club that rarely practice and play but instead, they go on trips. it just so happens that the club president is son of the school owner or something to that effect ...

i just realized that any manga by morinaga ai are all weird. weird but surprisingly hilarious. i found myself laughing out loud and not just smiling. but i was seriously confused since this would make a yaoi/yuri manga. a bit disturbing but since the guy is too pathetically girly and the girl uber manly it doesn't bother me anymore. but senbongi, he knew akira's a guy and yet...he says he loves him! i'm at a loss there.@_@
in the recent chapter, it looks like the switching device is fixed so i'm wondering if they'll finally return to their respective bodies or seeing as it was ...

i like this manga very much. it's true that that there are recurring scenarios like getting a client then defending for him/her to prove the person's innocence and obtaining the dark matter. but the recent chapters prove otherwise, with the new chara idamaria(did i spell it right?) the story takes another turn. the story gets more interesting and i find myself anticipitating for new chapters. i smell romance between kucabara and idamaria, though i might be wrong. >_>
the artwork? fantastic kucabara reminds of L though because of his looks. and just like any typical shounen hero, he's self-righteous and strongly believes in justice. i love him ... |
