A good start. Never read the manga so came in blind. The first episode didn't impress me much story wise, though the animation was nice, but that wouldn't be enough to keep me hanging around, but by the second episode, it hit its groove and kept supplying. It's an interesting mix of slice of life and shonen battle series. It gives me hunter x hunter vibes with the various groups, the order and slur, and I suppose it balances the badassery with your more bland slice of life moments of Sakamoto's family and his golden rule of not killing people and just trying to protect ... his peaceful life. It's a good balance and an enjoyable start the the series. This first part feels a bit short though. A decent amount happens in that short amount of time, but it's hard to give it too high of a rating with only 11 episodes. You can't really blow anyone away with that unless you have a super brilliant concise story. Sakamoto days seems to a bit more of a slow burn, with good promise for more growth and interesting characters.

Could be a 9 but I'm going to stay conservative and give it an 8. Best one shot I've read in a while. Everything is done well. There was only one moment I didn't really care for, when I thought the author was leaning a bit too much into tropes and cliches, trying to seem edgy and destroying the beautiful realism mixed with fantasy they had created. But, for the most part, the author blends everything well. The art is done well too, mixing in chibis and other things seamlessly and giving everything character and emotion. This author could certainly make a series if they ... haven't already, but this one shot was a nice sweet story that I would absolutely recommend, especially to those who love romance or high school stories.

This was a pretty quick read. I found it a little bit confusing. Not too much but, I think it was the paneling. It was sort of like, there wasn't a whole of to tell, so the author spread everything sort of thin with little things. Ultimately, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, it's just not worth reading to me. It's a little slice of life story but I feel like it doesn't have enough of a point and it's not entertaining enough to not have one. The art is nothing special either. I'm sure some people will like this, especially younger people in school, ... but for someone older, it didn't really hit for me.

I struggled to rate this, as the story, is a bit too far fetched and silly, but it's overall meaning is nice and the art is pretty good. I really don't dislike it that much, and would even recommend it as a quick nice read, but I feel like I have to be somewhat critical of the story. The whole idea that a deadly sniper hired to kill a target could go for days on end watching his target without killing them, with no consequences, just doesn't seem realistic. Then, when the employer finally takes matters into their own hands, they are of course thwarted ... with little to no repercussions for the protagonists. All in all, it just seem too good to be true, from a realism point of view. But still, the feeling carries it along nicely enough and that's worth something too.

I'd recommend it. Definitely better than most one shots I've read. It doesn't make complete sense and is a bit cliche in some respects but, I find that the overall message and feelings make up for it well enough. It's a philosophical story I suppose, about life and death, and the ability to mess with time. A bit like Death Note or something, when a kid comes into a super power that can drastically change their own life as well as others. It ultimately allows him to change his own life as well as someone else and gain a new respect for the finite nature ... of life. A bit much for a one shot and something a kid might read but, I enjoyed it for the most part. The art, is not great, too clean, but it's not terrible either. The story and dialogue/narration really steals the show.

It's really a bit too early to call this one, but it seems interesting enough. Given how it's progressed so far, I have to wonder how long it will carry on for. It definitely doesn't seem like the type to carry on for 200 chapters. Maybe over a hundred depending on how much they want to flesh things out. But it's pretty good so far. I had my doubts about it going anywhere interesting but it's done well enough. It's not amazing or anything but it's different, quirky and entertaining enough. I'm very fond of the art style. It's very line hatch heavy with thick ... outlines. It's different from most manga and pretty neat to look at.

Eh, it's alright. I'm not a huge fan of the art style. Too clean and the proportions look a bit off at times. The story is short and sweet, but nothing really special as far as I can tell. Wouldn't mind seeing more of it, I think it could be an interesting idea to continue, though it's not like it's super original. It almost feels a bit too short, like nothing really happens. It struggles to tell everything it needs to in the short amount of time it has. I'm sure some people will like it, but I don't think it's anything that would amaze ... most readers.

I'd recommend this to more hardcore anime fans, but not to newbies or casual fans. It's not bad but not great. The beginning is more wishy washy. It's quirky and fun, but also takes some time to get to anything really memorable or interesting. Once it does it picks up quite a bit, but this is like halfway through the series. Even then, the action makes no sense. It's literally, we believe in ourselves so, our powers work better. Very immature, but still done in a way that's quite likable I will add. It has some mature themes mixed in with it and reminds me ... of some of the American stuff you see that is also immature but mixed with mature themes that are really aimed more at adults. I'd say this does better than all of those though. It's a fun ride, but not something I'd really rave about either.

A solid manga. Not without it's issues though. Biggest issue for me is the art. It can be pretty good at times but, also very rough at others. In the beginning I really couldn't stand it. I'm not sure if it got better or I just got used to it. The story is pretty neat, I think. It kind of reminds me of hunger games in the basic premise. Bunch of people having to fight to survive. It's interesting how so many characters die relatively quickly and then very few for the remainder of the series. I guess it's a decent balance, although it did ... feel a bit lackluster and off kilter there. All in all though, I'd say it's a pretty good series, much more mature for a shonen manga, with interesting characters and concepts. Could bump it to an 8 or 9 in rereads, who knows, maybe even a 10. It has potential, but I read it very quickly and didn't analyze it too closely so, I'm going with a solid 7 for now.

Pretty good. I wasn't sold on it at first but, it really surprised me pretty quick. Granted, it's still technically a shonen, though with a bit more mature vibe. The first season isn't super long but, a good amount of ground is covered pretty quick. That being said, it's still too early to tell where the rest of the series will go. The animation was great though and I kept wanting to see the next episode so, I'd definitely recommend it. I'm surprised it's not more highly rated. It's better than any of the other battle shonen animes out there.

Great cast of characters too. That ... probably stands out the most to me, that each one is written pretty well, which is refreshing.
