To me, the story begins with the first episodes of the Happy Lesson series. It's a very fun-loving story revolving around a young man, Chitose, and 5 women, who are also his teachers, acting as his effective mothers. After watching the prequel to the show, I knew the show was going to maintain it's realness. It is easy to find yourself attached to the show and hope to enjoy it, but that is not what happened in my case.
If you did not like Air(tv series) you will not like this. The opposite is also true, if you liked Air, you will enjoy this series. To be completely honest, I was really into the show up until the last few episodes. The show starts off with a lot of potential and intoduces several characters that develop the story in a positive way; however, this was short lived. The story, in my opinion, fills you with hope and leaves you wishing for this wonderful ending, and then crushes your soul in a matter of two episodes. If you do not want to feel as though you just wasted your time by breaking your heart hoping for a good ending, then do not watch this show.
