The two anime are light and fun romance anime that have a similar setup to the story. They both have a female MC that heavily contributes to the character development of the male MC. The male MC in both anime start off as rock-bottom type characters like they're just really rock-bottom, low quality and are starting out from scratch. Rent-a-Girlfriend is more on the comedic and complicated relationship approach to the story while Bottom-Tier Character Tomozaki is more on the gaming and life philosophy in which games and life are being correlated. Both anime can give out lessons that can help your social life. Really worth watching in my opinion.

Tatoeba Last Dungeon Mae no Mura no Shounen ga Joban no Machi de Kurasu Youna Monogatari
add

These anime are set in a medieval fantasy and magical world. They both have a certain MC that is very strong and contradicts how they look. They're also humble, friendly, wholesome, and they don't realize how strong they are. Shingeki no Bahamut is more on the compelling and serious approach to the story while Tatoeba Last Dungeon is more on the fun show with comedic undertones approach to the story.

Seishun Buta Yarou wa Bunny Girl Senpai no Yume wo Minai

"Time" is what's similar between these two. Steins;Gate is more of a science anime that focus on time travel in which the anime uses physical and supernatural means for time travel whereas Bunny Girl Senpai is more of a supernatural anime where the supernatural phenomenon and time itself, are two of the factors that build up the story. Both anime have an amazing story but Steins;Gate seems to be much more compelling objectively. They also possess emotional moments along with natural fanservice. If you're looking for compelling plots, I suggest these two anime.

Arifureta Shokugyou de Sekai Saikyou
add

These anime are both isekai with Arifureta focusing more on revenge while KonoSuba is more into achievements and comedy. They both have a similar setting in which both are set in a fantasy world with various powers, magic, and monsters. They also have a similar set of characters in which a boy is surrounded by girls. Some characters are similar in terms of personality. I don't really recommend Arifureta if you want a similar anime concept and theme to KonoSuba while having a great animation. If it's the concept and theme alone, then that's where I would recommend it.

Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari
add

These anime are both isekai but have a different approach to the audience. KonoSuba is the comedic version while Rising of the Shield Hero is the serious version. Both anime have an MC who views the whole world as a game but later comes to a realization that they aren't living in a game but rather a whole new world. These anime are filled with a roller coaster of adventures that should entertain and immerse you in their story.

Shigofumi is settled in the real world with supernatural occurrence while Letter Bee (Tegamibachi) is settled in a fantasy world with supernatural creatures. Both anime focus on delivering letters to certain people where the letters are very emotional and have different origin. In Shigofumi, the letters contain the untold last words from the dead that they wish their receiver to read. In Letter Bee, the letters contain a person's most important feelings that must be delivered by the Letter Bees. Both anime are very emotional in their own way and leave the audience some important and heartfelt messages.

add

K-On focuses on four high school girls who joined the Light Music Club by force, passion, and interest. D4DJ First Mix focuses on four high school girls who are impressed and have love and passion for DJ Music and decides to form a DJ group/unit. Both anime are musical and have bonding moments where in K-On, they try to have fun and do music to stop the club from disbanding. And in D4DJ, they also try to have fun and increase their skill in producing music to become a great DJ group. These anime are really cute and wholesome to watch with MCs being airheads and smarties at times.

Seishun Buta Yarou wa Bunny Girl Senpai no Yume wo Minai
add

These two anime shows are completely unrelatable in terms of the build up through their own genres but commonly fall under Supernatural. These two anime shows signifies the importance of the psychology in one's state of mind by using supernatural events as means to define the importance. These supernatural events can be pertained to the "Adolescence Syndrome" in the long-named anime and the "Letters From The Departed" in the short-named one. They're entirely different because the syndrome creates a phenomenon and the letters are the last words the dead wish to say towards their chosen receiver.

Classroom of the Elite is settled in a modern and technological youth life whereas Hyouka is settled in a combination of rural and urban youth life. What should be looked in both are the True MCs. They are both similar in many things. The philosophies, idealisms, and perspectives towards life and the confident reasonings and retaining of their self-image are similar (not the same) between the two. The similar things they both share cling onto simplicity but the difference is that all those similar things come from different influences where one is influenced by the serious competition of society (Classroom of the Elite) and the other is influenced by the mysteries and nature of life (Hyouka).

Both anime share the same setting where both are fantasy worlds filled with random creatures, monsters, and magic. They both share great character and social development within the characters of the story. They both have the same approach when it comes to gore as it's realistic and painful and it's up to you to judge which of these 2 has the better gore. They both have a similar approach to adventure and fantasy as the anime shows give you a feeling that it's realistic even though it's fantasy.

add

Both anime shows share the same setting where it's a school life with a high tech educational system. Classroom of the Elite's classroom assigning is based on merit while Baka and Test is based on test grades. The difference between the two is that Classroom of the Elite is a serious and intense one filled with philosophical and ideological thinking where as Baka and Test is simply the peak of male idiotism with the intent of showing you how funny it is.

Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!
add

KonoSuba's setting is focused on an isekai-style life filled with ups and downs while Baka and Test's setting is focused on a school life with a high tech educational system and with classrooms based on grades. Although both have completely different settings, they both fall under comedy and share the same approach to it. Both anime's comedic approach is simply to give you laughs as much as the anime can. So if you just wanna laugh and have watched 1 of the 2 here, then I recommend watching the other.
