All of the games have separate stories that are centered around a different theme with recurring motifs and some same characters appearing, you can enjoy them in any order you want to. If you just want to watch something to prepare for P5, I'd suggest the P3 movies, they are pretty good and decent for introducing one to the series. Obviously playing the games would be ideal, as the anime can't incorporate everything in a game as big as Persona.

--Both of the male protagonist being transported from Japan to an alternate world. Zero no tsukaima's is focused on Wizardry/School while Gate is more on Military/Tactics. --Both have strong fantasy feel. Including dragons, elves, maids, monsters and mages. -- MC's comes from a world filled with advanced technology with an even longer and more brutal history of conflict. --they both share the want to protect what they hold dear. -Gate had a lot more darker moments, while ZnT is comedy-oriented.
