Comedy. These anime are comedy-based, with the most random jokes that the creators could think of. They both have that school, slice of life element. There's lots of energy, and no drama, so if you just want to relax after a hard day of work, then these are for you.

If you liked Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica add

...then you might like Gakkougurashi! add

They have that moe, cutesy artstlye, but are more than that. They have a group of girls trying to survive a cruel reality, but try to struggle through and look for hope. For Madoka Magica, a messed up magical girl world, and for Gakkou Gurashi, a zombie apocalypse.

If you liked Shiki add

...then you might like Tokyo Ghoul add

There are creatures (shiki & ghouls) that are causing problems in a city/town, and the only thing on the menu for these creatures are the flesh and blood of humans. The humans don't know much about these creatures, but continue to learn more. There are lots of blood and death. The story makes it so that there isn't just one antagonist. There are different points of view, and you make the choice of who's side your on. You also start to feel bad for the creatures.

If you liked Tokyo Ghoul add

...then you might like Yuri Kuma Arashi add

They have creatures that try to blend into the human society, but feast on human flesh. There's lots, and I mean lots of drama. They make you feel bad for them (the bears and ghouls). They also have that psychological aspect that makes you really think. The differences is that there's less war and action in Yuri Kuma Arashi, and no shoujo ai whatsoever in Tokyo Ghoul.
