It is a shame to see what corporations will do to a beloved series just too keep the checks rolling. I don't want a continuing series that plays every week unless Studio Pierrot actually tries to make it an enjoyable show. But when 90% of your show is filler episodes that could happen in any other series. Then Boruto loses what inherently made it original and interesting. Being able to do an episode every week works for a series like Black Clover because Black Clover gets a new chapter every week. I really like this shows setting and the issues it brings up within it. How the carnivores and herbivores view each other. The constant struggle to suppress your more animal instincts and how that will always effect you. Almost like every animal has there own mental disorder to deal with based off there species. However few issues which really just revolve around the main characters. I don't like how Legoshi never really has any character progression. Even in the end when things where such high stakes he still doesn't decide to go all out on the climb to rescue Haru. Also not a huge fan

Lets get to the best part about this film first and foremost. The 3D Animation and art style is gritty and awe inspiring in some parts. However and can lose focus at some points turning more into a psychedelic trip and losing the tone it recently had set. For 3D animation in Anime usually has a connotation of being a bad thing that doesn't mix but in recent time has gotten better and this film displays some positive light on why some 3D animation could be good.
