- both are high school setting and have protagonists who have known they were gay for a while - deal with suppression of queer identity and the accepting MLs who help them overcome this feeling - friends to lovers dynamics, very warm/fluffy vibes

Both great horror-esque romantic comedies where the love interest passes away and the protagonist is the only one that can see them (at the start at least) as a ghost

somehow the exact same type of cast/characters, writing and comedy with the exact opposite plot/premise - both shows will make you laugh way more than you expect (comedy gold mines) - iruma and saiki are the exact opposites of each other personality wise but they both live with the goal of wishing to be seen as normal and blend in (even though their roles make it very unlikely) - both main characters end up having like a fanclub's worth of friends without desiring it and it's great

Both are driven by the protagonist's love interest passing away and then becoming inhibited by a supernatural entity. Both work well as a combination of horror and romance as their main genres, while having an overarching mystery relating to the ghost entities and how their supernatural situations have come to be. I think a main difference lies within the protagonists, Yoshiki seemed more practical and apprehensive while Yuri is more naive and unhealthily obsessive.

Both are similar in the way that the plot starts off with a European man having an encounter with a Japanese man and ends up dragging them into their fields of work. Both European characters appear to carry heavy pasts. They have some episodes that are episodic in nature as well as some episodes that deal with exploring the stories of their main characters further. Great Pretender has more of a thriller and suspense factor while Case Files of Jeweler Richard mostly deals with a more lighthearted atmosphere. Both have lots of drama.

Arisa

-Both protagonists are targeted a lot by others to be taken out -One has people fighting each other to become god while the other has people trying to get their wish to come true and fighting over it later -One has a character with a Yandere girlfriend while the other has a character with a Yandere boyfriend -Arisa gave me the "What if Mirai Nikki was a shoujo manga" vibe
