Season 4 has finally started. Excellent action, character design, scenery.

As for plot, it is still about humans are trying to free themselves from control of deities.

This series still has a long way to go. It is still at volume 50 of part II of the Feng Shen Ji manhua that it is adapted from.

Feng Shen Ji manhua has 38 volumes for part I, 64 volumes for part II and 80 volumes for part III. This means there will be another 180-200 episodes needed to cover to the entire manhua. This is going to be a really long series.

The series spent many episodes covering 'Battle of Gods" and "Revival of F". I believe this is an effort to give the manga version of Dragon Ball Super some time to stay ahead of the series.
Expect more redundant details added to the anime.

I do not like the art much. The movies had better animation (should be because they are movies) I have seen all 26 episodes so far. The upcoming episode 27 will be the end of "Revival of F."

Personally, I do not recommend anyone watching the current Dragon Ball Super episodes. If you have seen "Battle of Gods" and "Revival of F", you should ... wait until episode 28 and beyond

The manga version did not cover Revival of F. It is at the next saga. I can't wait until the next chapter available.
