NEET Kunoichi to Nazeka Dousei Hajimemashita
|
The premise of both animes is a salaryman sharing a studio apartment with a lazy otaku girl who leads drastically different lives when outdoors and indoors. The salaryman has no choice but to cook and do chores for the girl, on top of his existing workplace commitments. Himouto Umaru-chan's titular character is known as a beautiful model student at school, whereas NEET Kunoichi's Shizuri is a ninja who protects her master when outdoors. This difference results in Umaru-chan's laid-back slice of life genre with a dash of CGDCT, in contrast to NEET Kunoichi's action-packed battle scenes, albeit it has some romance, which is almost nonexistent in Umaru-chan.
