This is the first time I am leaving a review for a manga--especially one that I didn't particularly enjoy much--but I feel compelled to do so due to the high rating of this series.
While it's true that the overall rating of this manga is quite high (beyond the 8 point mark), I personally couldn't possibly fathom why that is.
Firstly, there's the story that's with a decent setup. After all, with a cold female lead and a charming male lead that lets himself be led around by the nose, you already have the recipe for something good. So how come that it never amounts to

I have never written a review here in my life, but the abysmal ending to an absolutely wonderful anime that was my total favourite for a couple of years has pushed me to reevaluate my passiveness here.
If you have not read the manga to this wonderful series, perhaps you would not be nearly as infuriated as I am with this sequel. However, even if you haven't seen how it SHOULD HAVE unfolded, I am certain every single one of you who enjoyed the first season will feel that something is very OFF about the sequel.
