But the setting it has..and the usage and unusage of the characters is something that wasn't here in ages (like D.Gray-man that is like 40% shounen and 60% shoujo from retrospective) and then Nurarihyon then didn't last long but definitely had better peaks in my book compared to JJK..even if the S1 of anime was more 3-6 years oriented like Kingdom 1 that was handled like shounen presentation wise (and still is..if we're talking about how they handle the fights and the battles are decides with what blow...).
It's bumpy road that's for sure..If Deku is the reason you can't handle it..or all-might..then they're both key factor to reveal certain plot checkpoints at certain point of time on multiple occasions (even if All-might isn't really the one to fight later on anymore).

I'm not really die-hard wan of Jujutsu Kaisen but I think it does its job well to please the recent generation I would say.I still but Black Clover > Boku no Hero Academia > One Piece above JJK still so far..
Not to mention I have like only 2-3 characters in JJK that I like consistently and setting alone can't carry it for me even if it's a storytelling that kicks more when you keep in memory more of the earlier stuff that happened in the story and so on..
