Did I like the anime? Yes
But was it easy to follow, interesting, engrossing, uncomplicated? NO

The entire story could have been made a lot better and easier to figure out and there wouldn't have been the need for a weird quiz show in between(contents were necessary to understand some basic plotline but the concept itself was appalling)

And the characters, omg, where do I even begin! What's with the similar looking ones?! What happened to differentiating based on Some Distinct Feature?! Let alone introduce them their names(which one keeps guessing in the first part of the movie), ... then killing off the characters who were introduced and developed properly. Then leaving the side characters to play a main role?! And a side character is given the main role?! Like what is going on?!

The only reason I watched it was the plot. The story was good, I won't deny that. Visuals could be better, despite the year the anime was made in.

For people who've watched Evangelion (another anime) previously and liked it, it will be interesting. As such, watch with full alertness and don't be hesitant to read episode discussions after watching!

Though provoking, dark, action packed, filled with loss and ideals, intense. Besides these, there's little else to the theme.

The dark side of politics during imperial regimes are shown using fantasy/mecha. It's average since a lot of excellent main characters, which underwent development were killed. Bonus points, because that's how it is realistically speaking.

Romance however plays very little role and could have been emphasised slightly to lighten it up. Another aspect I liked was showing the humane version of the "bad guys" which is generally missing in detail in most animes.

In conclusion, good anime to watch, bad ending(very abrupt too!) and could have done a lot ... better.

If you have a cat or any other pet, if you like cats or pets, then you're gonna love this anime! If you've lost your closed ones and like pets or own them, it's a must watch!

Unique way of showing the cat's perspective on things, the way cats see the world. How we maybe selfish at time and don't give enough attention to people or pets around us. For people who think cats are selfish and narcissists, they need to watch this and perhaps rethink their opinion.

Overall a good anime highlighting the importance of relationships and feelings of both human and animals.

Story 1: Wonderful narration! I hope I don't get cursed and nor do the producers(just kidding!) I really like the way it shows ancient Japanese folklore and culture, it's superbly portrayed and scripted with additional trivia.

Story 2: Inevitable plot from the beginning. Slightly boring, could have been condensed into fewer episodes. Didn't really like the story, hence I'm giving it a lower overall rating .

Story 3: Amazing! the theme is about how humans can be more cruel than demons and things like morality are shown in a very creative yet smooth way.

Overall: It's a nice series of stories, really like the art and sound, it's ... pleasing and has a grace to it all which is difficult to put into words. A good traditional horror in short!

Don't do that! Don't give me hope!!! Finding love online is possible?! In your 30s?!

I've never related to a character like this anime. As someone who is very similar to the protagonist, in both nature and in various conditions, I've somehow fallen in love with this idealistic anime!

Highly recommended for single adults with busy or zero social lives who like to play games. Also nice to watch if you're feeling lonely or down and want something to cheer you up! For those who don't know where life is going, this can go either ways by being depressing or by being uplifting.

Superb animation as well overall, ... with nice attention to detail and character building!

A beautiful anime! Typical slice of life anime where two people fall in love and loosing memories is involved along with some trauma.

It is sweet and short, sometimes funny and definitely cute. I liked the supporting characters more in this though Chemistry between characters was innocent but good.

Ending was good, it was super sweet and a really positive one at that! All loose ends were tied up and everything was explained. All the things on a sort of wish list was carried out and completed, leaving little scope for adding anything.

Good to watch for something light with a good yet predictable plot line.

It's *the ultimate* in ecchi I believe!

Story is very different, it's light and refreshing and completely different from the usual animes in this category. Headphones and/or privacy while watching is highly recommended though. Be ready to laugh and see everyday objects in a different light after this.

It makes one realise what we take for granted everyday, importance of natural urges and all the things commonly used or available everyday. Bonus points for fetishes as well XD

Ending however was the most boring episode and definitely not a proper ending or a good fit as an ending I'd say. Besides the ending, the entire plot will have ... you laughing or giggling like crazy throughout!

I can see why the second season is better than the first one. Script is better, emotions are portrayed better. It's a lot of fan service, less of shogi and a bit more about what drives the players, it's shows the human side of the so called "robots" or "demons".

Also a lot of focus on the people who have a positive impact on the protagonist and development of hints towards some romance. Although I did miss any sort of character development of the step-sister and her relationship, which was completely absent.

Overall, good and sweet. Dare I say, addictive? I'm looking forward to a third season ... and how things play out.

Hands down the best short anime I've seen so far. It's extremely morose and definitely a tearjerker at multiple occasions. If sickness or death is a trigger, then avoid this anime, only watch if you can handle these main themes.

Unexpected twists and even more unexpected ending, with a slight bit of teenage humour. Music is good and character development is smooth and nice. Although the theme maybe a bit too mature for younger audiences.

Inspiration seems to be taken from a french book, quoted multiple times, carrying depth and lending meaning to the anime's context. Other books and quotes present are beautifully spun into the ... story as well.

If I have to describe it in two words, it would be Innocent and Dark. First time I've come across such an anime which explores dark themes and yet remains innocent and child-friendly.

There is no plot as such and it just follows a storyline, but the character development is superb. The ending however is very abrupt and could have definitely been better. There was a bit of good music here and there, but again, could have been better. Animation was simple at times but excellent.

Best thing I liked though was the various themes, besides the war, which brings out what it's like to live in ... a modern society and perhaps one of the various future possibilities for mankind. The portrayal of the same was way too clean and pure, indicating that a lot of effort went into the process.
