Opening Thoughts : Black Lagoon is about a japanese businessman taken hostage by the Lagoon Company, a mercenary pirate group sailing around Roanpur,Thailand. He was taken hostage because of a disk that contained important data from the company he had worked for and later realized his life in Japan was thrown away from his boss to as a cover up. Sick and tired of his old businessman life, he ends up joining Lagoon Company on an epic adventure in the criminal underworld. The crew of the Lagoon Company is Dutch, a black man that seems to be in charge of the entire crew, Benny, the ... intelligence guy. Not very combatant but is good for information, Revy (a.k.a) Two Hands, a chinese woman who has a dark past but one of the best sexy gunslingers you will ever see. And Rock. The name of that Japanese businessman who used to be known as Rokuro Okajima.

Plot : Is the plot any good? Hell yes! Many animes usually take place around Japan or some fictional land. Black Lagoon is not. I am amazed at the writers of this anime and manga where it originated from. The world in Black Lagoon is portrayed very realistically. I'm sure the creators have took the time to study how different cultures are in the several locations and characters of the series. The plot mainly revolves around the many jobs and missions Lagoon Company operates. Each of their tasks aren't very straightforward. They usually go out of hand because of some trouble or they were lied upon. /10

Characters : Very well-crafted set of characters. Some of them have deep backstories such as Revy but we pretty much know the race and location of each character. Not all of them are asians and stereotypical white guys. We got columbians, russians, germans, each with their own accents. 9/10

English Dub : As I mentioned above, many characters have their own unique accent depending where they are from. Many anime fans probably think english dubs are inferior to the regular japanese cast. But for Black Lagoon, that is a different story because the characters are multi-racial and are from different countries. Revy is chinese, but was born in the Manhatten area of New York. Benny is from Florida. One character is from a Cartel in South America and speaks in his native accent. There is also flashbacks for a small side plot portraying nazis back in the 40's. The voice actors for those back story characters did an. excellent performance portraying genuine german accents. Another character who is taiwanese speaks "chinglish" which is basically a broken english dialect. This just shows how great the dub is and isn't just some english voices slapped on great anime. Rock and some of the minor japanese characters however sound like the typical english dub voices.

Animation/Art : Very well done. A ton of things are in details such as the many weapons in featured in the anime. Everything looks beautiful especially since many of the scenes take place in the middle of the ocean. 9/10

Sound : (Read English Dub section of review for voices). The sound for the guns are just great. Everything feels believable. Not much I can say about background sounds but everything feels like the anime is real. 9/10

Final Thoughts : If you love guns, actions, a sexy strong female character, and tons of profanity, then Black Lagoon is for you. There isn't really anything bad about Black Lagoon. It's just perfect. The English dub alone just tells me that the actors took great effort to make their voices be part of this great anime. It's just totally entertaining including the gun fights. The action scenes aren't overly cartoony but feels more like typical american action flicks. The series does take place around the 90's after all. One freaking great anime!!!!

Schools Days is not really your typical High School anime. From what I've heard and recommended, School Days is deemed terrible. But that's not what i am trying to say. I am not saying it is really good either. But it was actually decent enough for me to complete the entire anime series.

So let's get things straight. The main character is one of the most hated protagonists I have ever seen in anything. Even outside of anime. Now, spoilers ahead. So Makoto (the main guy) has a got a friend who happens to be a girl who gives him relationship advice to go out with ... another girl (Kotonoha). At first she is happy, but then she goes jealous after they cheat on Kotonoha. Makoto himself has done some of the dumbest things ever. He literally has affairs with over 5 girls in the school over the course of 12 freaking episodes. At this point, he doesn't give a shit about a great relationship, but his now a sex addict.

Makoto's friend even lies about a pregnancy to make Makoto feel like hes responsible so they can be with each other again. Many of the characters are whores. All of the characters are unlikable except for Kotonoha which I feel bad for her because all of them lie to her or just being cruel and mean.

At the end of the series, Makoto and his friend are dead. Good. Because they deserve it, however I found the actual ending rather creepy.

This anime was decent enough, but the best but meh. If you looking for something good to watch, find something else. If your bored, this wouldn't be so bad to watch

A small continuation to the original 12 episodes. It's good and apparently contains a lot more fanservice scenes than usual. This will not disappoint Kampfer viewers at all. There's no ending to the series but who cares. I honestly would like more Kampfer episodes.

One of the better fanservice anime I've watched. It seems like it's all about gender curiosity where a male can live life like a female for a certain amount of time in a day. If you watch Kampfer for the story, it is enjoyable in some way but the overall plot is really an excuse for the fan service. But who doesn't like fan service anyway? The 12th episode of Kampfer is really an omake and not the final conclusion. You might want to check out the bonus (13 and 14) episodes then. They still don't conclude the anime but it's a little more on ... the main part of the story. Well at least its not an anime ending that can make you feel sad and depressed. Very good anime. I highly recommend it to ecchi fans.

Boring. This special isn't what your gonna want from the original Kampfer episodes nor the bonus ones you get. It is literally a picture drama and I couldn't get myself to enjoy it. The Entrail animals aren't entirely enjoyable to watch for 11 minutes.

I found Death Note to the anime that never really had the typical anime plot. It's a very serious anime about a man who ultimately gets consumed by his new capabilities. Now I won't really spoil anything but by it's name, there is a ton of death involved. By justice of a single man. I personally like stories where someone has had enough with society and does things his own way. Trust me, if you haven't seen Death Note, it's going to be likable by any anime fan.

I can't spoil this one because I am revealing Season 2 of Code Geass (R2) but the season doesn't necessarily start where it left off. You will be confused but it's comes down later which almost makes R2 a whole other story for a second which I am totally fine with. It's just interesting how it works out.

Like R1, The continuation of Code Geass is just epic. It gets a very emotional as well and totally unexpected character decisions you will about to see.

The name may sound stupid. The art could look stupid. The story may sound stupid, but I was wrong. I've enjoyed this anime the most. Every episodes ending made me want to watch more. Set in an alternate universe where Britain became a world superpower known as Brittania, a school student in Brittanian conquered Japan (Area 11) becomes a revolutionary hero to stop the empire leading his group The Black Knights. But, don't be fooled. This isn't good and evil. Each character is complex. No one is 100% good and no one is 100% bad. Sometimes it's hard to determine to who's good and who's ... bad which makes the story and character development complex. The series introduces a broad cast of characters in several groups ranging from the School Academy, Brittanian Government, Black Knights Terrorist Cell, to the chinese federation. It's just one epic anime and you have to watch it!!

One of the best animes I have ever watched. The story starts out very vague and confusing but it's all comes to a conclusion. It's like a puzzle. The characters are very memorable and many of them had sad back stories. The content of this anime is all very mature. Tons of gore and violence, many characters, even the young ones appear in the nude but is not for sexual pleasure and taken in a serious subject matter. Which is why I thought this anime was just great. It does have some funny moments here and there, but it is very serious and a complex ... story. It's also very sad and depressing so if you sensitive to that kind of stuff, it might be hard to watch.

I'd say, you got to watch it.

As a fan of all things zombie related and a recent fan of anime, I actually liked this series. High School of the dead is mainly a fanservice anime showing exaggerated breasts of the many female characters but other than that, it had a unique storyline and emotional impact on the characters. I can't say that all zombie fans would like this but it isn't necessarily bad.
