This manga is just... unbelievable. I have seen the movie before and I didn't cry, though it was moving.
The book though. Oh my god, I sobbed so hard, twice.
The thing is, the book lets you feel what you want to feel. The movie had the mood set already. For example at one point in the movie I felt sad but the music was somewhat uplifting so I didn't feel like crying. As I read the book though I sobbed so hard at that point because there was no music to force me to feel something, it was my own thoughts and emotions about

Galilei Donna was a fabulous anime overall. Many people have said the ending is "the beginning" and in a way that's true. The reason why some people were unhappy with this anime was because it seemed a little rushed at the end and there was supposedly "so much more of the story untold".
The characters seem like the typical type, sisters all with different talents and passions who work together to complete some big task. In this case it was recovering all the Moon sketches. I just finished the anime and oh my God. You get so attached to the characters and feel all their emotions. I was always kept on my toes, wondering what would happen next. The emotions in this anime though; they were so strong. In my opinion, it wasn't boring during the beginning or middle, unlike some anime. This was absolutely a fantastic anime that was violent, filled with drama and entertaining throughout the whole thing. There was a little romance and some parts that made me chuckle but this was a little more serious overall. I recommend this to anyone who could survive having important
