I had looked forward to this anime so much because I've been reading the manga for a long time and was so excited when they finally announced that an anime was on the way. Perhaps it was because I had such high expectations that I felt really let down and disappointed with the anime when I finally watched it.

Firstly, I felt that the voices did not suit the characters very well and did not manage to bring out the characters' inner personality colours out. And I'm not talking about toddlers (I mean it isn't easy to voice for such a young child character like Kotaro ... or Taka) but characters like Ryuichi, the moms and the Chairwoman did not have very well-suited voices.

The art was simplified a lot, which again disappointed me but maybe it's because they were trying to keep things flat and simple as there are a lot of child characters.

Overall, this anime is nice to watch when you have nothing else to watch and you like kids and fluff. But personally, I'd recommend you to read the manga instead because the feels are stronger there, the characters' inner voices are very clear and the life lessons are also more apparent. Somehow, even though the anime was pretty faithful to the manga, I felt that the life lessons were not very well conveyed through as compared to the manga.

Maybe that's just me because I read the manga. My friend who did not read the manga thoroughly enjoyed this anime so go ahead and give this anime a go if the plot intrigues you! I hope you'll enjoy it more than I did!

This anime is absolutely amazing. The art is stunning, the characters are basically typical compared to other reverse harem anime but they do have great personalities and character, and the music is beautiful.

I rated the story 8/10 simply because it was a too rushed. Can't be helped, each episode was less than 10 mins, capped at 12 episodes; how much plot could they possibly cram in there?

The main protagonist who is our heroine disguises herself as a boy and enters an all boys school in the place of her long lost twin brother. She isn't annoying in the least and sometimes I forget that she's ... actually girl because she fits in so well with the others.

It isn't one of those 'all the boys fall in love with the only girl' or 'am I gay because I like this guy who looks girly' kind of plots, which is one reason why I like it so much. They all end up really good friends and the plot works towards strengthening their friendship or at least getting to know each other more, rather than showing the protagonist's feminine sides.

I would really love for a season 2 or at least PLEASE do a proper full 24 mins 12 episode anime for this!

I suggest to those who love sports anime, please take this as just another sports anime. If you're here to watch and compare Dive to other sports anime like Haikyuu, Yuri on ice, Free!, you'll be sorely disappointed. But if you take it as a normal sports anime, without holding any expectations or benchmarks, this is a very good anime that you can take quite a bit from.

The character development was great. I can say that this was pretty realistic in showing the diving industry in Japan especially if you're not very familiar with it. The characters all managed to change and improve in their ... own ways. They're not super flashy about it but if you pay attention, you'll definitely see them grow.

The art was simple but beautiful and the OP and ED suited the anime very well, in my opinion.

I would say give this a chance. If you're someone who can appreciate a unique sport that is neither flashy nor dramatic, and if you can keep an open mind, I think you will enjoy this.

To me, this season made up so much for the disappointing third one.

There is great character development that is quite nicely balanced considering they were featuring 14 different members from 2 groups. The storyline was pretty smooth and many of the characters changed and improved as the anime went on.

I'm still salty about how they changed the animation style of the way the characters performed live. In comparison, season 1 and season 2's live performances had beautiful animation but season 3 and 4's look very flat and stiff. The art, aside from the live performances, was still kept the same and beautiful, thank ... goodness for that.

At the end of the day, I think they ended the anime pretty nicely.

Compared to the first two seasons, honestly, this one was very disappointing. It fell so short of my expectations that I actually dropped it.But being a big fan of UtaPri, I forced myself to pick it back up and watch it through.

I don't hate this season so don't get me wrong. Let me jump right into the pros first. The story is great. This season shows more personality and character in the Quartet Night members. If you love the Quartet Night members, you should definitely watch this. The STARISH factor lacked a bit but I still appreciated the development of the Quartet Night members.

Then the ... cons.
I was severely disappointed when I realised they changed the way they animated the live performances. The style is now similar to other music anime such as Aikatsu and Dream Festival. I mean, those anime are great but UtaPri has its own style and I felt that by changing the animation of their live performances took away their identity.

The major reason I love UtaPri is their beautiful art and the amazing way the characters come to live whenever they're performing live in the anime so my opinion may be biased. But I'm still glad I watched this. Because this season led to the next and the 4th one pretty much makes up for it.

A very underrated manga that is very sweet in nature.

In order to make his baby nephew Satoru happy, Hino begs his schoolmate Reona to marry his older sister so Satoru can have a father who makes delicious pudding.

This manga is very simple, straightforward and sweet with lots of fluff. Of course, having a cute toddler only makes things sweeter. Hino is a very misunderstood character in school which makes me really sad since he's doing so much to support Satoru. I love this manga because of the simplicity and lovable characters.

If you're looking for plot twists, conflict and a long story, this manga may ... not be for you. But if you're looking for fluff, romance and a light hearted plot with a sweet tooth, give this a go! I don't think you will regret it :)

I have been a huge fan of Katekyo! for years now and I love Moegi Yuu's works. Only recently did I find this side-story and read it.

Personally, I loved it. I didn't like Haruka from the Katekyo because he was far too stuck up and narcissistic. However, here, we can see him fall in love with someone who is the exact opposite as himself.

Haruka's attitude does need a lot of work and improvement. However he is still young and under Tokiwa's influence, he may change as a person. Haruka is revealed to be someone who will cherish something he loves forever but his ... sly and arrogant attitude may come from his loose upbringing (trying not to spoil too much here) however, Tokiwa accepts all of him.

Some people may get turned off by Haruka but do give this a chance. I did, and now I can add this manga to the pile I love.
