When watching Crusher Joe, I really couldn't help but constantly think of the resemblance it bore to MSG. Not only are the character designs the same, the overall feel of the movies is just extremely similar. I can't really imagine liking one and disliking the other. Note: I haven't seen the full MSG 0079 series, and only the summary movies, but I assume it would pertain to that as well.

If you liked Lupin III: Part II add

...then you might like Mirai Keisatsu Urashiman add

These shows are quite different in substance, but seem to give the same overall feel. Ryo has a fairly similar personality to Lupin, and generally runs around thwarting the evil villains' plot in some quirky way; of course, not without hitting on a few stray women.

If you liked Texhnolyze add

...then you might like Gungrave add

Gungrave and Texhnolyze have quite a lot in common. Brandon Heat and Ichise are very similar characters. They end up loyally serving an organization with their prodigious fighting abilities, they're both withdrawn and not very talkative characters. Some of the concepts in both series are similar, and although the style is a bit different, Texhnolyze being a bit more grungy, I'd say they both have a similar feeling to them. If you like Texhnolyze you'll probably like Gungrave, and vice versa.
