In each series, the main character must solve mysteries, often involving death or the supernatural, so others can be at peace. In Nightmare Inspector, this centers around patrons experiencing...well...nightmares, while in Genjuu no Seiza, those in trouble range from the living to lonely spirits. Both protagonists have an unique power which makes them so effective. Lastly, the art in each is well done.

Both center around a shop which deals with the supernatural. Their customers have dark problems which are solved by either K or Hiruko at a strange cost. These problems are often rather bizarre... Also, the female lead in each story has a dead brother. If you like one, you'll probably like the other.

Horror and the supernatural are common traits of these two series. Both main characters run shops wth supernatural themes, and only serve their customers with certian conditions in place. Also, each have chapters with contained stories.

Both have gorgeous art in simular styles, include elements of fantasy mixed with reality, a cast that is prodominently male, and border on the line of BL. In each story, the main manifestation of the "evil creatures" also look very simular.
