A lot of people really loved this anime, but I found it decent. It is a bit slice of life, and I got bored a couple times watching. I really like the first few episodes, but after it got a bit bland.

Long story short, it's a boy meets girl and face the typical misunderstanding and trials of a middle school relationship.

I thought it was surprising realistic in depicting a shy couple, rather than how a lot of shoujo manga and anime do it. It made me get secondhand butterflies because the main couple do things that I ... could really see happening in real life. I do wish this could've been a high school relationship, than a middle school one, as it seems restricted by that. The main couple is cute and shy, but it doesn't go much deeper than that. The side characters are also likeable.

Something that bugs me though it is realistic, is that they mostly communicate through texting and I don't see them really getting to know each other on a deeper level. They are in love, but it seems like they haven't even talked that much.

I do like the art and music quite a bit :)

Overall, it was enjoyable, and would recommend it to people who like slice of life and cute romance.

Story: I thought it was a pretty interesting story, but most of the series isn't really focused on what the story is supposed to be about if that makes sense. A lot of it was her developing her friendship and stuff, but not about turning into a lady as much, imo.

Art: Aghhhhh. This was the worst part! Sunako is in chibi form almost the whole show. I kept looking forward to seeing her as an actual person, but it was quite rare. They also did that to all the other characters, but not as much. When the ... characters are shown as they really are, the art is pretty and different. I just wish it was used more.

Sound: Sunako's voice didn't fit that well, and I felt like her voice changed from deep to high alotttt.

Chracter: The side characters were well developed and the main ones, too.

Enjoyment: It was fun to watch! It is totally hilarious. I think the comedy factor is the best part of the show. The ending is very unsatisfying, fyi, but i would still watch it.

Overall: I kept watching for the humor, but it was hard to watch with chibis the whole time.

Story : It is about this plain girl who dedicated her life to one guy. She finds out he was using her, so she wants revenge in showbiz, since he's an idol.

Art : It isn't too great. I don't really like the design of the guys. I really like the MC's facial expressions. When she changes her hairstyles and stuff, it's nice because it seems so fresh.

Sound : The OP and ED were eh. Nothing special.

Character : Great character development. One of the best I've seen ever in an anime. The main girl really ... develops. You can see how changed she becomes when she finds out the guy was using her. Also, one she enters the business, she becomes more mature. She is one of my favorite characters ever. I thought she would be annoying, initially, but it's the opposite. Shotaro is the guy that used her. I know I should hate him, but I really liked him. I ship them. I didn't like the other guy, Ren. He was so boring and got mad at Kyoko for stupid stuff. He was just really bland.

Enjoyment : Loved the beginning and middle of the series. It was so great to find another great anime. The ending got boring, cliché, and it was unsatisfying. It's worth watching for the beginning, though.

Overall : It really surprised me. It doesn't seem good from the summary and art, but give it a try. I bet you'll like it.

Lovely Complex is my favorite rom com anime by far.

STORY : Best friends. Girl is tall and boy is short. Girl likes boy. Boy likes girl as a friend. It's nothing really special, but most plots in anime are boring but can be so enjoyable. This is one of those. Most of the series is just the girl trying to get the guy.

ART : LOVE THE ART. Everything is so bright and sunny. I think Risa is such a pretty character. Otani is pretty cute, too. The rest of the cast ... has kinda weird looking characters. It reminds me of Bokura ga Ita.

Sound : Koizumi's voice is decent, although I wish she didn't say Otani they way she did. It fits her character. I really like Otani's voice.

Character : Risa and Otani are practically the same person in different bodies. They are super quirky and crazy. Tbh, I didn't care for anyone else besides those two.

Enjoyment : This anime made me laugh and cry. It's mostly comedy, but there were a few parts I got teary eyed for Risa. She's a really relatable character. I stayed up until 3 just to finish marathoning it because it was so good.

Overall : Wasn't a cheesy rom com. It had good character development. Also, you could see the feelings develop through out the episodes. Most rom coms just have the characters like each other right off the bat. It's a lot about unrequited love, which I think is somewhat uncommon in animes. Watch it, it's a lot of fun.

One of a favorite animes ever.

Story : Long story short, it's about a guy who can see a girl who died and about how him and his friends from childhood deal with it. There's a love triangle of some sort which really reminds me of Nagi no Asukara (watch both, you'll see what I mean). They are trying to figure why this guy can see her and why she's there, and how to fulfill a wish of hers(which she can't remember). It doesn't sound all that interesting when you read it like this, but the anime brings it to life and ... it's just amazingggggg. It's a decent and simple plot for a short anime like this. Menma's death really affects all the characters a lot. It's weird because it happened when they were kids. The characters still make the death affect them in high school.

Art : The art is nice, although nothing special. Wish Menma looked older and not so kiddy, but it fits her character.

Sound : The OP is good, but the ED is amazing. It fills me with feels every time I hear it.

Character : Character development was just so amazing. You get to see all the characters grow and overcome their personal obstacles. Although, Poppo wasn't nearly as developed as the rest of the cast, though. I wish Menma could've been more grown up physically and mentally.

Enjoyment : I'm glad that it was short as nothing was filler. Every episode really progressed the story. It was so emotional. I'm really not the type to cry or anything, but I did tear up. The feels. The most heart wrenching series I've ever seen. But you can tell they purposefully did it that way just to make you cry.

Overall : I'm so happy I gave this a chance. My friend recommended it to me. I heard of it before, but it didn't sound appealing. If you feel this way, watch it. Just watch it. You won't regret it.
