I generally don't appreciate shows with overpowered protagonists quickly rising to the top, but this one is an example of such trope being used in a right way. Don't get me wrong, Bell Cranel is in all regards an OP and an exceptional individual, but the very premise of the show dictates that his adversaries are much, much stronger. Never have the thrill of watching the hero overcome the odds been lost on me during the run of DanMachi and with addition of LN author to the crew, I believe, the anime will hold or even rise in quality as the years go by.
