It started out with a girl that loved doing hair. With every hairstyle that she tried only on would fit her. And it was a hairstyle that made her look like a country bumpkin. It was BRAIDS, of all things it was BRAIDS into pigtails. The story is truly amazing, because I wouldn’t have made it any better myself. The beginning made me think a little, because this really hyper guy just shows up ad starts screaming her name, but it really wasn’t towards her. It was towards a boy, WITH LONG HAIR! They ended up sitting next to each other in the same class. ... They start to criticize each other until she cuts his hair. Then she gave him a whole new hair cut. This is when he decides to make her his new target.

The story is truly amazing and I wouldn’t want to spoil anything for anyone. All I am saying is that this story is worth reading and you would definitely be amazed of this manga. It gets frustrating at one point, but I think that it just makes it more interesting! In this story, there is love, comedy, fashion, and betrayal. For someone to be betrayed by women and still tries to believe in them is amazing. I know that I couldn’t do that. The one thing is that her sister kind of ruined the story a little; because the little sis betrayed her, without know it. This story will make your heart cry for more and more! The thing is that the main character is a little dense and she makes everyone feel bad towards her boyfriend. But I believe that he truly loves her and through words I can tell. Especially in this manga.

Overall I will rate this story a 9, so close to perfect, but not. I think that this story could use a little bit of adjustments, but still. If the story is changed around, then it wouldn’t have the authors feel to it. It would feel like someone else’s story. I love how the artist makes the story hers and not make it seem like someone else’s. This is a must read for girls! It shows a girl falling in love for the first time, a boy believing again, and a couple that tries everything for one another. This may seem like a bad review, but this story is so amazing, words cant explain, and you should read it, instead of trusting someone elses words.

I will recommend it to girls that are ready for a ride on a rollercoaster called LOVE

When I heard about Skip Beat, I was like, “What the heck is that? Is that even a good manga?? Whatever, i should just read it so i can write a review on it...."

So when I read the summary, I was like, this story is definitely the same as the simple shoujo manga that everyone reads, but its not, it’s a simple romance comedy that should be appreciated! While reading the summary, I thought that this was kind of stupid. After reading a couple of chapters, the main character, Kyoko, kind of reminded me of other characters. I'm not a big fan of characters reminding ... me of other characters, but as the story gradually climaxed, it made me think about a lot of things. Like Sho is the typical bishounen and Ren is the usual quiet guy with a mysterious past. The plot line was a little normal, but while reading this manga, I realized that it made me look forward to more. Then after that, i realized that with every scene, it made my heart skip a beat. I wonder if this is why the manga is called Skip Beat.

I remember thinking, “What was I thinking when I said that this isn’t a good story. I was wayyyy WRONG!” I just laughed at myself and I found the reason why this has such high marks. I definitely think that this manga is worth the 10, a perfect score!

The romance is absolutely complicated. I really don’t understand how Sho might possibly like her and why Ren would worry a lot about her. I believe that the artist should give a little more detail, but also keep it the way that it’s been. The process of the story is truly amazing and i give a lot of credit to the artist. I just think that the romance could be a little better.

The story has all sorts of genres. Like romance, shoujo, comedy, and more. The plot line is good so far, but I'd really like it if there was a girl that interfered with Ren and Kyoko. But that’s just my opinion. I think that Sho should show up more in the manga and he should be put in the story in a way that puts the readers in awe.

Overall the story is truly amazing and if you’re looking for a simple comedic shoujo to read this is meant for you. I don’t want you to decide if the story is good or not, based on the summary. I want you to read it and appreciate this manga, based on what you think. It’s the one manga that will leave you in awe about the celeb world. It also makes you realize that not all celebrities have the time of their lives being famous. I think that everyone should at least attempt to read this manga.

I definitely recommend it to people of all ages and all genders.

Who wouldn’t love a simple story that makes your heart skip a beat with every scene??

For a story with 5 people dealing with the lost of someone precious, I say that this is one of the greatest yet. This is because, the whole group of friends blamed themselves for her death. They also blamed themselves for having selfish thoughts. I understand that in psychology, everyone will sacrifice anything for the thing that they want. It started off as a kid thing, but turned out far more serious. I believe that kids shouldn't have these kind of thoughts. The story is supposed to be a story about the past, but why bring in the romance? It doesn't make much ... sense to me, but overall I did love the story. Its a tear jerking anime and i only recommend people that are not afraid to shed tears to watch this. I loved this story and I recomend it to all people of all ages!
