Both crazy and random but fun and keep you wanting to watch more.

War, diplomatic problems, death, hardship, ever so slight Yuri... yeah they are rather similar

If you liked Mitsudomoe add

...then you might like Nichijou add

Nichijou is by far superior in animation quality and humour although Mitsudomoe has the same feel and pacing, Mitsudomoe is a bit more on the odd sexual side of humour compared to Nichijou but both have really great comedic moments. If you are after something to sit bac, zone out and laugh too they are two peas in a pod and if you like one you should like the other.

If you liked Shinsekai yori add

...then you might like Made in Abyss add

They both have an eerie feel to them. Shinsekai Yori is a lot darker than Made in Abyss although they both have the feeling of a hidden deep story that is unraveled as you go. Both are also coming of age stories that show the world isn't as bright as you think from first impressions.

...then you might like Flip Flappers add

They both have: -2 great main characters with wacky personalities - A really fun animation style - A mix of being confused and baffled through most episodes - A pretty cool plot that doesn't make actual sense but is still pretty awesome - Awesome fight scenes with similar animation These two anime have a really similar feel and are both really fun to watch. If you like one I am sure the other you will enjoy a lot!
