I wasn't going to bother writing a review until I watched the final ending, but after that train wreck I felt I had no choice.
For context I haven't read the manga, I've only seen the 1st and 2nd season of the anime. Even not having read the manga, I could tell that a ton of stuff was cut out, since there were glaring holes in the story which made the whole plot confusing and turned it into a huge pile of garbage.
All character development is thrown out the window and the characters become shallow and generic the moment that the anime is said to have
...
diverged from the source material.
And that ending... I won't spoil it in case you want to punish yourself by sitting through it to the end, but do yourself a favor and don't bother.
It is crystal clear that the director hated his job and wanted to quit, but was contractually obligated to finish the season. He basically just said "I'm bored, everybody out" and set the whole thing on fire.
If I could give this anime a 0 I would, and with the setup leading up to this and the source material available, there is no excuse for how much of a dumpster fire this turned into.
TLDR: Don't bother watching this season, either read the manga or treat season 1 as a stand alone series. After watching this season I'm not even motivated to try the manga, I just want to forget that Promised Neverland exists.

There are many reasons why this show is exactly what it should be, ill try my best to explain them here.
The first reason is because hentai isn't taken seriously as an artistic medium right now.
with a hentai series you won't have anywhere near the amount of ways to get your series out there, because most outlets dont consider hentai to be art in the same way that mainstream anime is. As a result of not being able to reach as many potential customers, the budgets for hentai productions are much smaller scale, and your options for voice acting aren't going to have the same level
...
of quality.
There are a few hentai pieces that reach the quality of mainstream anime, but there aren't many and they're mostly older hentai.
Because this walks that fine line, it gets the budget of a mainstream anime. since it pushes the limits of both the mainstream anime and hentai mediums (albeit in very different ways) it also gets an absurd amount of attention.
In order to create a push for more sexual mainstream anime as well as a push to treat hentai as a legitimate artistic pursuit, we needed the perfect anime to walk that line and have mainstream appeal.
Beyond that, this anime is extremely progressive in many regards.
This anime has solid intersex representation, celebrates bodies of all shapes and sizes, has a variety of skin colors, handles sexuality without shame, generally doesnt kink shame, treats consentual sex work as empowering, and is generally very positive about these mature themes.
Depending on how things go, we could see a lot of really awesome anime and hentai in the next few years, as well as things like this that walk the line between the two.

aaaaaaah, please excuse me squealing like a little girl, but this was waaay underrated. As a very long time fan of Naruto (I started watching as a freshman in high school, and am in my late 20's now) this was extremely nostalgic for me and I'm hoping the Boruto anime has the success of it's predecessors. The story felt a bit recycled, however that was most likely the intent. The over all theme of this was to show that this is an extension of the original Naruto series, and that it isn't over. The reviews of this are mixed to say the least, however I
...
personally enjoyed it quite a bit.
Story: I won't go into too much detail so as not to spoil the plot, however it does give insight into how the characters of Naruto deal with the challenges of parenting in a world filled with violence and strife. There is a lot of what we come to expect from this long running and beloved series, but with the added depth of knowing the adults of the series while seeing how the next generation handles the sorts of challenges their parents faced.
Art: The art was pretty consistent with what I've come to expect from the Naruto franchise, if you aren't familiar with that art style already then I strongly emphasize that you should watch Naruto and Naruto Shipuden before picking this up.
Sound: The sound was similar to what the later part of Naruto Shipuden had, the score had a lot of the same familiar tracks that the rest of the two series have shared.
Character: The characters share a lot of traits with their parents, however they aren't simply copies. as Naruto states, Boruto is more like Sasuke than Naruto, but not quite the same as him either. Boruto is definitely his own character, and it will be interesting to see what kind of ninja he becomes. In my opinion Sasuke's and Sakura's daughter is much more interesting that Boruto, and the two of them are on a team with the child of Orochimaru.
Enjoyment: If you are a long time fan like I am then this will be a nostalgic experience, if not I'm not quite sure why you're reading this. As I stated before, you should watch the rest of the franchise (maybe skip the filler) before watching this, if not you probably won't enjoy it.
Overall: I rated this a 9 because although it was intended, this was a somewhat recycled plot, so I couldn't justify giving it a 10. I did enjoy it quite a bit though, and if you're a fan of the Naruto franchise I definitely recommend it. I don't write hardly any reviews, but this felt like it deserved one. It's only one movie, if you're a fan you'll most likely enjoy it, and if not it's not going to waste much time. This movie really helps to bring the series full circle, so if nothing else it brings closure to a very long series that has touched the hearts of countless anime fans across the world.

I was planning to give it a 10/10 score but near the end it cooled off a bit instead of reaching a proper climax and his sudden statement towards the robo-fanatic annoyed me for reasons that are obvious to anyone who saw it. Also I really think Overusing his power should result in a similar result as Rolo in Code Geis. Don't watch this thinking of it as a sequel to Steins;gate, instead think of it as it's own anime even though it is a sequel. It is definitely better that Chaos;head though, and would have maybe even been better than Steins;gate if the things

I already stated had been different.
