A simple story can definitely go a long way if it's executed well, however, while this manga doesn't have any particular issues in terms of its execution, like others have stated, it's a plain read. Considering the dynamic of the two characters ( it's in the title), personally I would've expected more stakes even for such a short read. It just reads as a typical romance narrative, nothing about this story is unique as far as I can tell.

Older characters that make you feel giddy with every small step they take to not only bettering themselves, but making them feel good about themselves is always a lovely sight to witness.
