At first, I wasn't interested watching this anime just because I think this one's really overrated by viewers. Yet, once I started watching the first and second episode of this anime, I was really into this show. The story was amazing and very addicting.
The first part of the anime introduces to us the abilities of the main character (Kira) who can kill a person by only writing his/her name on his notebook. It was simple, but gets more and more enthralling once they introduce a couple of new characters that puts the show unstoppable.

Actually I am not really into romance drama, but this one is recommended. I really like how the author created the characters and the conflicts happened between them. Honestly, the story was a little bit cliche as it involved illness which occurs in one of the main characters, yet the way he packed it in the story was awesome and enthralling to see.
It is a recommended anime if you are really into tear jerky anime like clannad series or if you'd like to be inspired or if you're looking for motivation. But most of all I really love the OST, since it is a musical ...

Compared to the original anime, this one only acts as a complement to fill the missing plot in the anime itself. But, it is not that essential for you to watch this as it has no relatively important plot either. It is just a prequel and does not really relate with the original story. I'd recommend you to watch this episode before going straight with the anime, otherwise don't watch it.

Probably the best anime movie I've ever watched. I highly recommend watching it if you are still a newbie. Both the story and the characters are awesome and I really enjoy the soundtrack since it has deep connection to the entire story.
From the beginning until the end the anime is so beautifully designed as if I was immersed into the story and emotions. You will find lots of funny, sad moments in it, and the ending was also amazing. Overall it was a masterpiece.
