This manga nails power dynamics without going overboard, avoiding typical yaoi clichés. The seme and uke have a wholesome vibe, and their roles feel natural rather than forced. The seme is the classic tall, quiet, and lowkey possessive ikemen, but in a sweet, patient way—more Victor than Christian Grey. Meanwhile, the uke isn’t traditionally strong, but that’s not his role. He’s the parentified child of his family, and the seme helps him realize he deserves love and protection. That said, he’s far from weak—he’s mature, smart, and knows his own limits, even when his naivety and caring nature are taken advantage of.

The rivals, though, try ... too hard. Walking red flags, they come across as more predatory than endearing. That punch-out scene? Necessary. Everything after? Less so.

This is a book that falls flat due to its over-reliance on angst and drama. The author gave us a story about two very different people in a relationship, but they seem to think I will feel sorry for the lead just becaue she is a princess and is sad. Like her situation is bad, 100% something worth a divorce, but I can't ignore the fact that she never did anything for herself, not once did she ever genuinely stand up for herself. And despite being so smart, she is incapable of realizing that her husband has abandonment issues and an inferiority complex because he ... was a literal child slave that had to work every day of his life to be seen as human after being abandoned at an restaurant as a child.

Like there are literal scenes where he says "I don't understand anything but money cuz I was poor and didn't receive a lot of love due to my race" and she will argue like "how dare you not understand love! You are heartless!" And I just died a little inside. I don't think she's selfish for wanting to break up with him, but I do think she is selfish for expecting him to read her mind. She constantly acknowledges that they're different but refuses to actually bridge the gap even when he is actively trying. She would rather assume he hates her than actually do anything for herself. She would rather die than actually talk to him about her problems. She will hear this man say "I already lost money with you but I'm fine if I have you" and still think he doesn't love her and only cares about the money.

And he is no better. I understand that his love language isn't touching, but at some point, he should have realized hers is. He is so up his own ego that he would actively ignore his bleeding and shaking wife. He treats her like a doll or a prize and only gives her attention after actively seeing her suffer and hiding major information from her for no reason other than the plot. For what reason would he actively withhold the fact that he can't have kids with her and why is adoption just not a thing? He was adopted. She just wanted to be a mother.

This is a book that fails not because the idea isn't interesting or the leads aren't hot, but because the characters within it are too dumb to live.

This comic is a bit interesting, don't get me wrong it's not unique. The idea of a beast like a character being hopelessly devoted to a more normal character has been done before and in some ways better. what makes this interesting in my book is that they both make it clear that the seme is not just natural good at everything and has his own problems that he doesn't like to deal with and the uke one that we are mostly in the point of view of, can be a bit of a jerk. using the seme to essentially suit his own goals. they ... make it clear that despite the seme being a pervert and much bigger than the uke, he is the more innocent of the two. he's actions are brought on by a love that was literally brought on by a mistaken naruto style kiss. while the uke for the most part just wants to reach his baseball-related dreams. Along with that I also like how despite it not being outright stated throughout most the manga it is clear that they both like each other, even if the uke is a bit of a tsundere often wanting to distance himself from a romantic reason behind his actions. Despite that, the outcome is as clear as day from the moment you pick up the book (it is a schlocky Romantic manga after all) it still manages to still serve as an overall Enjoyable waste of time that I keep coming back too.

As a whole, the only real appeal, this story has is in how cute it is.

Stories like this mainly rely on the enjoyment you get from watching cute characters interact in a story that by all accounts is pretty mediocre. From the moment you open the book, the ending becomes as clear as All Might crashing into your room yelling "I AM HERE" but that isn't a problem. Since for the most part this story is not meant to be grand or really all that beloved like the cheap books mothers buy from supermarkets, it's just meant to give you a little break from reality, ... and a few moments to say, "aww". So to round this out the story is bland, the characters are mediocre and overall it's a big waste of time, and I love it. It has fulfilled its role as the perfect little time waster, and I recommend it.

This is essentially a josei hentai without any of the fun bits, it can be entertaining to watch just on the grounds that it is pretty much a hentai that censors out the sex scenes in increasingly silly ways but with the mediocre stereotypical and bland story, Art and characters I can't bring myself to recommend it to most people but if you get a kick out of reading poorly written formulaic romantic manga about naive girls falling for hot guys like I do, this may entertain you for the first few episodes at least. If I could say one positive not backhanded thing about ... this anime, it has a pretty good pace for an anime with a 3 min run time, the story isn't really good but at least it tends to flow pretty well. I mean really even the inevitable forced conflict in every romantic series didn't even slow it down which is just amazing.

It may just be me, but I found this anime unbearable. it took a short comic arc which was dark yet had a sweet ending and turned it too well crap.
To start this off, I disliked Logan's voice actor. He tried too hard to sound tough and his voice was too young for the role. Logan is a very old man even though his body doesn't show it, both his voice and mannerisms do. His voice to me sounds like a kid trying to sound older and he acts like a 20-year-old trying to act cool (take a drink for every one-liner I dare you).Second, ... he doesn't really act like Logan and at times it feels like they would shoehorn in lines or words to make it seem like he is Logan but really it just came off as weird. Off of Logan, there is Mariko, in my opinion, the anime gave her no backbone, in the original comic the reason she didn't fight back is because she had a strong sense of honor and was already married by the time Logan found her. in the end, it was shown that she was planning on killing her father and then herself if Logan didn't get there in time. In this anime, she just sits around and sighs as she waits for Logan to save her. she is not even married yet and when we get moments to see what she thinks it's just "Oh logan~"
