lying under the shade of a big tree just before noon, the wind gently blowing, birds chirping in the distance.... this is the sort of feeling i get when i watch this anime.
in a world filled with action-packed shounen anime, this anime felt like a savior, i agree with another reviewer on how healing it felt. truthfully i wasn't expecting much out of this anime; i stumbled upon the novel at my local bookstore and saw how beautiful the characters on the cover was. and then i saw who the voice actors were and thought, heck, i'll watch it since i'm such a fan of

background: i'm an avid sports anime fan, i love this series to death among other sport animes andddd i just finished it so i'm still in that high phase. i try my best to be spoiler free!
*********** story: 8/10 its basically like season 1, although the 3rd years have graduated so there's always that sad melancholy theme throughout the story. sometimes it pulls the character down, sometime it gives them spirit. i miss the third years but yeah sports animes are like that. i still find it enjoyable despite it using the same mold as season 1 ... this is my first review ever (on this site) so i'm not sure if there's a certain format i should follow... hope i'm not breaking any rules :D
i just have to say that after watching this anime, i can't remember the last time i've laughed this hard... it was that funny. and i genuinely laughed my heart out, not the "wow what a lame joke haha". i guess you can say its the anime's plus point. its light and funny. something to help you destress after a long day. plot wise it isn't something to write home about... it was interesting enough. the anime spends a ... |
