Violet Evergarden is one of the best animations I've seen in my 18 years of living. The artwork is absolutely beautiful, the choice of music is well thought out and the emotional feel is there. It may not be the most action pack animation ever nor does the development of each episode go quite far but it's one worth putting on your list. Every episode I've seen so far has made me cry (episode 9 in particular).
