- short, sweet, and simple, though too simple for my taste. there's not much to it, plot or character-wise. one could find the mcs to be some bit endearing, seeing as they are flustered youths; the mmc is definitely sweet with his open affection
- cute premise! i read this because of "ore monogatari!!," so i generally like premises like these (even looking back at my reading history). but, going back to the first point, i think this one might have been better off as a oneshot.
- reading "my hero!" filled my time nicely, and i can't say i regret it (especially since it's so ... short), but i also can't say i'd look back to it at all.

- i love when a story focused on romance still has a strong emphasis on friendship(s)!!
- misunderstandings, communication issues, or literally any problem were dealt with pretty quickly. the issues themselves didn't seem too contrived.
- all fluff!! even the introduction of the (very minor) "rivals" were still wholesome interactions that ultimately strengthened the relationship between the couple
- nothing of too much depth, so a very easy binge read and possible re-read. amidst the cute romance and light comedy, there were some pretty touching chapters

- SOMEWHAT SPOILER i found some aspects of the last chapter slightly surprising, especially considering the course of the relationship ... throughout the series, but it was so quickly and sweetly resolved, i didn't care too much on that point
