Let's keep this short and simple. Boruto is trash but there is some real diamonds in the rough.
Boruto is pretty decent if you just skip all the filler tbh, the episode quality skyrockets compared to the filler and the big cool fights are some of the best things you'll ever watch albeit few and far between.
As a whole boruto is hot garbage with like 10% redeeming quality perhaps even 5% but even still It's still I'd watch.
Watch it as a whole if you enjoy watching trashy nonsense with cool stuff rarely or just skip to all the good parts it's up to you.

This anime was truly a MASTERPIECE
The absolute dichotomy of their feelings intertwined with the sheer wrong yet somehow right aspect of them being stepsiblings truly makes this show a cut above the rest.
What makes this show good you ask? The bad writing and over abundance of the same backstory seen? No. The generic characters troupes mixed in with strange characters that are just weird to see? NAY. Is it perhaps the mixed in chances of redemption for other love interests with characters you like even more than our may two!? NOT AT ALL
IT IS SIMPLY THE FACT THAT IT IS STEPSIBLING INCEST, TRULY THE PINNACLE
...
OF WHAT WE CAN ACHIEVE IN OUR WORLD, THE STRANGELY IMPOSSIBLE MOMENTS CREATED BY HOW THEY HAD PREVIOUSLY DATED AND ARE NOW TOGETHER IN THE SAME HOUSEHOLD IS TRULY A CUT ABOVE THE REST. This... THIS IS IT, THIS IS WHAT WE'VE BEEN WAITING FOR. SIT DOWN AND WATCH THIS FLAMING HOT PIECE OF UTTER TRASH AND ENJOY IT, LOVE IT EVEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Do I recommend this series? Absolutely and it's obvious why. If you think you'd enjoy it you clearly know why, I don't have to tell you.

Evangelion is nonsense lmao
But that's ok because it's still fun nonsense
Story is a wacky crazy nonsense
The art was really good and there is really good animation in random places
Sound is great, movie quality stuff. Even some of the weird/silly stuff
...
Characters are kinda dumb in some aspects ngl. Mostly the main ones though, a lot of the others are fine/ great even
Still a good fun watch regardless of it all, I would recommend keeping your brain off though. Thinking about it will just hurt
On a more serious note, the movie is worth a watch if you're into the series as a whole, but honestly I wouldn't outwardly recommend this sort of thing to most people. If you liked the show, watch it, if you don't then don't.

I'll start off with a small blurb on the various aspects of the anime and go a bit more in depth afterwards
Art: From the unique character designs to the interesting usage of color from the game and real world the art was done in a great way. In the real world you can quite easily notice how colors seem more bland and grey-ish to represent the rough times the main character experiences, while in the game world although it can also be rough it's full of new and interesting experiences that can even help in their own strange ways. The character design is quite something
...
else to speak of but there are many interesting designs I can go a bit more into later
Sound: I'm not too much of a sound guy so I'll just say that it was mostly good and nothing wrong, from you fun sound effects to your more gritty or interesting ones they were there and helped make the anime what it is.
Characters: There is a healthy amount of character you get to experience in this story but I'll start off with the MC
Hiro: Hiro is a fairly normal type of guy with some unfortunate things happening in his life, he acts fairly appropriately but still has a bit of that MC drive that keeps him going which is nice to see. It was refreshing seeing a character like this even if it's a bit awkward to get used to at first.
Reona: The "heroine" of the anime, Reona is the character that truly starts the whole story going. I'm not even sure if I would call her horny bait as her breasts are so egregiously big that I would say it creates the opposite effect... but that's just a personal opinion. Her character creates an interesting dynamic throughout the entire anime with the MC that you appreciate in a strange way once it's finally over. You'll get a good laugh from her every now and then as you enjoy the show.
I don't want to spoil the other characters too much so I'll be general with the others.
Although some side characters feel important they might not actually get much screen time which is a shame, on the other hand they do fulfil the roles that they need to still. You might be disappointed with some things but I think one of the more important things to look at is how fun some of them can be, including the incredible difference in Z axis for some of them
Story: The story is actually quite a simple one, a sad boy with a rough life just want to get a new game, unfortunately this didn't happen as the store led to Reona who pushed the full dive rpg game onto him. Although admitted shitty Hiro still pushes through the game and keeps at it trying his best to complete the game.
Enjoyment: A great time to watch, especially with a friend. It's easily enjoyable on your own or with a friend as you can just lay back without too much though put into it and watch the fun unfold.
Overall: 10/10 a great show to watch for an experience you will have a ball watching.
Closing thoughts: Although full dive rpg might not be what you'd except, it's something you should still consider watching anyways. Will it be a perfected masterpiece of though provoking things? Perhaps an animation masterpiece, or even an emotion rollercoaster. All of these I'll have to say no, but I did have a good time watching it and hopefully you will too.

I'll try and make this first part short and simple, then expand on it after, there will be a list of things I liked/ disliked towards the bottom
Should you watch it? I'd say yes but keep in mind that there are things you probably wont like
Short version? The art and the feeling of the badminton looked great, but the way the story moved and specific characters acted felt so wrong and unnecessary. What happened in the anime was fine but because of discrepancies and things that were over the top it turned out a lot worse than it needed to be.
Now to expand
...
on it all.
Hanebado mainly revolves two girls, one who works very hard to get where she is and another who seems to have been born with immense talent, there are lots of support and side characters that go along with them that each play a great role the make the series feel more fulfilling. The first one, Aragaki the captain of the team struggles with her own problems early own revolving around her skill due to a loss, this lead to a good change. However the main problem that causes this anime to falter in my opinion revolves around the other girl, Ayano.
This part will contain info/spoilers about her, nothing will be ruined from reading this however... Ayano was brought up with badminton because of her mom being a famous player, she had fun and tried to make her mom proud by being the best player she can be as many children might do, however due to a loss the mother was disappointed and vanished from Ayano's life. One might imagine sadness or weakness and feelings of the sort to brew because of this but it became something terrible instead, Ayano became a hateful character with an extreme edgy vibe constantly going, this could have been fine if toned down and other feeling mixed it but this is not the case. The story moved in a fashion that I felt was normal/good for a sports anime like this but because of Ayano along with a few other problems directly revolving around her.
Things I liked:
>I actually quite enjoyed majority of the cast, some of them might not of been as fleshed out as I would've liked but it's only 1 season
> The art looked really nice and pleasing, the girls were made to look cute/sexy as well but not in an overbearing way that is shoved in your face
>Disregarding the clash between certain characters, I think the direction the story went was good
>During the final two episodes Aragaki got a different art/style to really emphasize the situation, it felt appropriate and looked good
Things I didn't like:
>Ayano was hateful and edgy to a dumb degree, a tone down of this and a mix of other emotions would've felt much better
> A character acted one way and then suddenly changed to the opposite, this would've been fine if there was some show for it at least
> Ayano also got a art/style change but it made her look older and more like her mother, it felt weird
>I think for the purpose of the anime what the mother did was fine but it felt like it was portrayed in a bad way, there was also little follow up for the amount of tension brought up with her

I'll try to keep this review short and simple, with dot jot notes helping out
NOTE: I like to watch anime more casually and if I just simply liked it I give it an 8, so think of 8 as an average ok good sort of thing
. definitely not amazing, but better than people thought via the first few episodes, if you're going to watch it, watch it all
. I recommend giving it a try for sure, but I feel like when it was airing weekly it had a better feeling watching it
Story: Super simple, don't except anything too complicated with this
Art: average anime
...
art for 2016, so goo i suppose
Sound: ?? idk how to rate sound tbh so whatever
Character: lots of generic tropes, but nothing wrong with it honestly.
